Come on, $700 million! Almost there!
Is it safe to conclude the studio's entering profit territory now?
Hell yeah!!! Keep the money rolling in!
Big money, Big money, no whammy, no whammy, stop!
I hope that it makes at least another $10,000,000.00 with the Imax sales so that it is cemented in the top 20. I know that I will be doing my part to get it there. It would be awesome if it beat Spiderman 3. I really liked Spiderman 3, but I love Transformers.
thats a lot of money. i expect that considering it's still in many theatres and it's coming out on iMax soon, it'll break 700 million. which is.....almost five times as much as it cost to make. if they dont make a sequel, they're ******ed.
They got my 40.
I wish i could afford to go see it one more time in theaters
Wow. I hope it climbs to #1 for the year with that sweet IMAX money...
I predict that on Oct 16th (you heard it here first) it will become the #1 DVD of the year in sales.
It will be a smash on DVD.
It's down to only 2 shows a day at the theatres around me, but my friend who works at the local cinemark says that it should still be playing when the IMAX version comes out...
I only wish people would stop using the amount of money it has made as a solid proof of it's goodness.
I read an article (I think on MSNBC) the other day about hits and misses among this summer's movies, and they had the gall (or stupidity) to not even mention Transformers! What kind of cave were they living in?!?!
so Imax sales go towards this too eh?
gonna be sweet
maybe we'll pass LOTR
THIS MOVIE WILL FAIL!!!!
Just you wait!
any moment now...
I plan on seeing it in IMAX, and I've seen it twice already. Plus I know a lot of people who saw it just because they remembered seeing the show as kids. Yeah Children of the 80s
I just want to see it pass the SW prequels >.>
Hmph, straw man argument.
Wow.... just a little more and Shrek 3 will be out of the way. Come on!
Just imagine how much more they could make if it were released on blu ray.
I can't wait to see how much a sequel will make now that the fan base has been expanded.
From a studio's perspective - the more money the movie makes the better....
From a TF fans perspective - it's entirely up to you about the quality of the film. I loved it though. Saw it 5 times. It's finished here though so I won't be seeing it again until it comes out in November, and I WILL get it day of release.
