No plans for Blackout or Wingblade Prime? That's too bad, although not very surprising. At least we got the Takara versions.

TFormers has their questions. Apparently there are no more plans for Animated at the moment.

    Time to import Blackout.
I guess this also means no Wasp...

Animated is over. it was a great show and I liked the toys, but it's time to accept the fact that it's over in the US and it's time to move on.

Finally an answer about the PCC's that isn't vague. They're their own little world, or can fit into any existing one.

Used to be they just didn't answer any questions from TFW2005, now they aren't even asking us for submissions? Yet whatever "Kitty's Pryde Forum" is gets questions answered?

Not surprised about the end of Animated, as it was pretty much tango-uniform anyway. Would be interested to know whether the remaining figures are going on hiatus because Hasbro just doesn't want to do anything else with the line right now or whether it's because they couldn't find a retail partner to take the figures as exclusives. Also wonder if this might mean that Hasbro will allow the Club to release some of the obvious repaints/retools (Wasp, Thundercracker, etc) as a future BotCon set.

Well, if that does happen (and I think they said they have no plans on having an Animated Botcon, but plans change), there's a better chance of Wasp getting a new head, at least.

Why the heck does TFW, the biggest (or second biggest?) fansite, always get shafted with the Q&As? Hasbro should doe a big exclusive Q&A session, possibly a chat with TFW to make up for it.

I remember there being an October Q+A thread. I'm pretty sure we did get to submit questions. Maybe our questions are coming. Who knows.

Well, that's the final clinker, I guess. So long, Animated.

Honestly, it's not like we couldn't see this coming, Animated being finally shafted for good... but it still stings knowing we'll never get Blackout or Wingblade Prime. But all the stores want are movie figures, and soon TF: Prime figures - no market for a two years dead show. :\

Besides, really, Wingblade Prime, Hydrodrive Bee, and Blackout are the only new moulds. Most were repaints - Vortex Blurr, Mercenary Swindle, Fugitive Wasp, etc. And we already got a Wasp anyway.

And concerning the Q&A, how the hell is this "Kitty Pride" website or "Parry Game Preserve" getting answers before us? I don't even remember seeing a story on the front page about submissions. Pardon my memory if I'm wrong.

Wait for Botcon, I'm sure we will get new Animated figures sooner or later.

Why is everyone asking about Animated, and why is everyone surprised at the answer? I started posting at this site a year ago and the answer is as clear now as it was then.

The toys being asked about were shown at a past Botcon with the mention that they intended to release them. Although you're right that it was always a stretch, it's not too hard to see why people would have clung to that notion. Plus, the likes of Blackout actually seem to have been produced to some degree. Several people own pre-release versions of him that differ from Takara's. Also, two new waves of Animated hit TRU shelves this year, one fairly recently, and although those of course are only the deluxe price point, again, it's understandable if anyone was still expecting to see some of the remaining voyagers released by Hasbro.

Even without all of that, a bit of wishful thinking is still harmless.

:(  I was hoping at the very least they could try & get the Animated stuff out at somewhere like HTS, the club store or even a convention exclusive, say SDCC. I mean those figures are fully produced & probably sitting in a warehouse somewhere.

Also, when did Hasbro start taking only 2 questions. And comment here about how TFW keeps getting screwed over.

    Here's the TFWiki's answers:

    Interesting answers.....kind of.

They really don't answer anything on the issue of the multi-versal Alpha Trion problem, at all.

Actually, I asked at Botcon about that. According to the designers at Hasbro's booth, only test samples, and packaging mock-ups were made for stock photos and such. The toys were not actually mass-produced yet, but can, and are ready to, go into production whenever Hasbro wants.

I do wish they would release them though; two years is a very, very long wait to finish off a collection. :(
