this figure is so amazing, so many different places you can store or plug the swords, joints are all good and tight, and his colors are just bright as hell.

I was sure that Soundwave was going to be my favorite deluxe, but Wheeljack proved me wrong. His transformation is amazing, sculpt is good, very little kibble. Only problem I have is that there is no swivel in the arm. Hurts posing.

I got Wheeljack last night. I'm impressed with his legs' transformation. Very nice. He's got a great bot mode too.

Picked him up with SW and CJ and saved him to open last. Such a great figure. Alt mode looks awesome, bot is too and the the transformation took some thought but was so satifying to figure out.

Picked up 2 Wheeljacks today. 1 for keeping in box. I must say, I am quite impressed so far!

Overall a very strong figure where most criticisms are more like nitpicks. Nitpicks to follow:

    - He's not a small figure exactly (a smidge taller than Generations Wheeljack at least), but the wide stature and head sunk low between the shoulders make the toy seem smaller than it may actually be.

    - This is something I've noticed on all the P-RID revealers I've seen so far - where's the faction symbols? Luckily WJ has a perfect spot in the center of the chest for a small sticker. (wonder if this is something that might be addressed in a running change)

I'll admit that I haven't gotten excited for a TF in a long time. Wheeljack easily corrected that. Simply amazing. Same with Soundwave.

It is rather strange that there aren't any badges.

I go through phases with TFs. When I saw Prime I knew I had to have the corresponding figures. I only imagined myself purchasing Starscream, Bee, Cliff (it's the Rock c'mon!) and maybe one or two others. Picked up Soundwave and Wheeljack today. Wheeljack might be one of my favorite deluxes. Transformation was fun once I figured it out and his joints are nice and tight. Great figure all around!

Driftjack is great. Love the sword storage slots that form in his back. Great posability and nice clean alt mode.

I usually stay away from anything other than the classics' design but I gave Prime a try with Wheeljack. Advanced transformation, solid car and robot mode, sturdy robot mode, and lots of posability (sp?) What more do you want? I love this figure! May pick up Soundwave later.

I just got mine ship today from Ebay.

But since it cost a lot, I don't know if I should keep it in package or open it and play with it.

Seeing as its a wave 1 figure, it probably wont be worth much in the near future so I'd say open it. And you probably over spent on a figure that's gonna be on the shelves for a while.

This. Never pay a hell of a lot more than retail for a Wave 1 figure. Do that for the figures from the last waves of a line, or in Prime's case, the first preview wave.

Agreed. I thought I was at the point when I would be constantly underwhelmed by TF's. Wheeljack has thankfully proved me wrong. I love this guy. The transformation is superb, and the alt. mode is one of my favorites in a while.

As far as the lack of faction insignia goes, it doesn't bother me too much as TFP Wheeljack isn't really a permanent Autobot team member.

Yeah, the lack of bicep joints is kind of a bummer. I wonder if the designers left those joints out because the arms would be too delicate with them?

Still, I'm impressed with the amount of poses I can get out of him even with the more limited range.

I'm curious to see if cutting the tab in his armpit, which would allow the arms to go out further from the body, though it would lower the shoulder, would significantly improve his arm articulation. I think doing that might over joint the arms, which would make the frustrating, but the potential pros might be worth it.
