Got my Wheeljack this morning (the only one I REALLY wanted from wave one). I was a bit skeptical whenI heard people saying Transformers are 'downsizing'. But he certainly didnt disappoint. interesting transformation and two cool looking modes.

His vehicle looks like a stylized updated version of his original G1 vehicle mode.

He can attach his two swords onto the bumper as a sort of ramming/cutting device?

He can also store the swords away in vehicle mode without being noticeable (to my relief).

Here he is with some of the First Edition Autobots in vehicle mode.

Transforming him requires quite a few twists and turns but I must say, he's no worse than any of the First Editions I have. His arms are very long, possibly a reference to the G1 toy's arms. His swords can store on his shoulders in this form.

Because of the way his arms are, he's a bit limited in the arm department, but he DOES have ankles. And hip swivel. So he's still pretty articulate.

Here he is with the rest of the gang.

In all a nice update to Wheeljack. My only complaint is that the windshield halves hang off his forearms which is a bit distracting and get in the way slightly. Cant wait for the rest of the Prime line.

Very nice. Looks like he's decently scaled with Optimus. Not so much with Bumblebee, though. Just have two requests: 1. Got FE Bulkhead to take a comparison shot with? 2. How's the back of the figure look with the swords attached?

The ability to store his weapon below his body is a deciding factor for me to buy him :D

(I hate the way it's stored in front of the bumper)

So bought on sight! I had and loved G1 Wheeljack as a kid, and Generations Wheeljack (with the Reprolabels 539 stickers) does him great justice. Primejack looks like an awesome update to a great character, even if he did adopt a lot of Drift's mannerisms on the show. Hopefully we get to see a more technical side to the character on TF Prime, and that his toy sees a US release very soon!

Very solid figure. Interesting transformation. I'm still not sure how some of it goes and I've already transformed him once! The head and lower legs in particular have a great transformation. He has an ankle rocker which gets him plus points in the poseability department, but then I have to take them away agin for the lack of bicep swivel. That, and the fact his mask doesn't slide down are the only minor gripes I have with the figure.

Also, you can store his swords on his back in little slots that go down his roof. They follow the contour of his back perfectly, so I'm guessing it's intentional, and looks less intrusive than bolting them to his shoulders IMO. EDIT: Storing this way is more show accurate too.

Use of a couple of Mechtech weapons on his robot shoulders might give a similar look to the G1 toy or to Cybertron Downshift.

I wonder what he'd look like with Energon Downshift's Energon weapons ? as with those 5mm ports he's likely also compatible with them.

I think this is the best Prime figure to date. Easily the best deluxe. Voyager FE Prime looks good too. Come On America, get these guys!

I wish he didn't have the faceplate. Good otherwise. I might paint in the eyes though.
