Found this on the sister site on Toyark. The buyer/spotted is from Australia.

Didn't realize OP was already getting a new version out for him in the Prime line.

    You mean Ultra/Leader.

Not sure which best describes this considering the 30 dollar pricepoint.

It's a Leader Class toy with an extremely simplified transformation at the size of a Leader but was cheaper to produce.

I try to not be negative about these things, but gads that is horrible. After watching a video review of it, I can happily say that I will be saving $30 by not buying this.

If it was TRU, then you might as well be saving $50 by not buying this.

He's not that horrible. I used a Walmart gift card to get this one. Transforming him is a bit finicky, I found him slightly harder than Wheeljack. I have a few photos I've taken of him with Wheeljack.

    His weapons suck though. Muchly.

He's actually not bad. Fairly nice considering teh gimmick, which by the way works well and I'll always take big guns as the shoehorned-in gimmick before some weird auto feature or voice.

    I agree with Spilt Lip.
He really doesn't look bad. If anything, this TFP Optimus Prime figure looks more accurate to his appearance in the series than his Voyager Class version.

Because in the series he has a GIGANTIC back piece and cannons that pop out of his shoulders?

No, but he looks more accurate, like how he doesn't have ugly block chest pieces that stick out past his actual torso, And that he actually has red on his chest.

    Thank you.
That's exactly what I mean by this Optimus Prime's toy having a more screen-accurate appearance.

    Sorry for the snippiness.
Just seems to be disproportioned overall. I really don't like the sacrifice necessary for the gimmick. In the one review I saw it looks way too top-heavy.

Honestly, I don't think it's too bad. If I can find him, I'll probably pick him up. I want a more accurately proportioned TFP Optimus alt mode (despite the whole "my entire backside is hollow"-thing).

This doesn't look too bad. I'll pick one up when they hit state side.
