We all heard about the new show, but we dont know who's in it.

Here's who I think should be in the show and who could voice him/her.

    Optimus Prime(Peter Cullen, obviously)

    Skids(Tom Kenny)

    Mudflap( Richard Steven Horvitz)

    Arcee(Susan blu or Venus Terzo)

    Ironhide(Kevin Micheal Richarson)

Sideswipe( Seth Green or Scott McNeil)

    Mikeala Banes(?)

Transformers prime does not follow the movieverse. it isnt a continuation of it. So i dont think that will be the cast.

Whoa! Never thought of Richardson as Ironhide or Richard Horvitz as Mudflap.

I think David Sobolov or Scott McNeil with their Depth Charge and Silverbolt voices would work great for Sideswipe.

If Cullen couldn't return, I'd love Neil Kaplain or Garry Chalk back to voice this older version of Prime - sorry David Kaye. :(

Charles Adler is already a voice actor, so he could return as Starscream. Jess Harnell is a voice actor already as well, so he could probably come back. Hell, Foxworth could maybe come back if he could, if Jeffrey Combs wasn't voicing him already.

If The Fallen were to appear, Kevin Michael Richardson could work - he has that big, booming voice, and he just has to sorta do the effects Tony Todd did.

It will be Jeffrey Combs. Jeffrey Combs will voice everyone. And it will be glorious.

If Keith David is not in this show, I will be a very unhappy camper. I also really hope that Maurice LaMarche will be doing a voice or two. It seems to have been a while since Richard Horvizt has done voice acting. I'd really love to hear from him again.

As unlikely as it is seeing how he's always busy working on Family Guy, American Dad, and the Cleveland Show, I would love for Seth MacFarlane to do voicework for Transformers.

Bumper Robinson for Bumblebee, Just make the voice a little deeper than Animated BB's.

David Sobolov for Ironhide, Has that "Steely" tone that all Ironhides have to have.

If Ratchet is in TFP Than William Shatner for Him, Why? I don't know, it seems like a good fit to Me.

Venus Terzo for any female character.

James Earl Jones for Ultra Magnus, He has that real Wise tone that fits UM.

Liam Neeson for Prime, He just sounds cool.

    Yay for some Keith David.

I would love to have Clancy Brown as Ironhide (he could use his Mr. Krabs voice with a Souther accent) and Cyclonus (has the perfect baritone voice for him)

The Fallen should be voiced by Miguel Ferrer.

Let's add Steve Blum to the list as well. Can't have his only major contribution to Transformers be a flying squirrel.

You know who would be a good successor to Peter Cullen's Optimus Prime?

    Sam Elliot

Then again, Sam Elliot doesn't seem to have any of that "GIVE ME YOUR FACE!" type insanity in his voice.

    Why? Why at all?

Also, like others said, TF: Prime may be movie inspired, but it's not in the same continuity as the movies. (rather, it's going to jumpstart a new Continuity that will last over years, so hasbro says)

I really hope you're joking on that one. April Fool's Day was yesterday.

As far as VA go for this show, not really sure who to pick...

    Optimus Prime-Peter Cullen
Bumblebee-Johnny Young Bosch or Will Friedle
    Ironhide-John DiMaggio
    Prowl-Michael Bell
Megatron-Frank Welker (incoming bitching about how "he's too old to be Megatron!" in a few moments)
    Starscream-Doug Parker

Whoa, okay, I'm not saying I want the guy to voice Optimus Prime or Bumblebee or anything. Just saying he could be like a guest voice actor, maybe voice a comic relief character or something. He'd probably be great as Skids or Mudflap. Sheesh. Almost like you can't post a thing without getting flamed sometimes...

    Ironhide - Jeffry Dean Morgan

Ratchet - Hugh Laurie (if he wasn't already being voice by Jeffery Combs)

Jeremy Irons has gotta voice a Decepticon. I don't care who it is. You can't deny the sheer awesomeness of his voice. He'd be awesome as anyone.

Y'know, his standard speaking voice is a VERY nice sound. Yeah he does all the crazy/sarcastic stuff on his shows, but he was also the vaporous german guy in the hellboy 2. I think given a chance he would be a fine addition, and I think has the range to really give some real life and differention to a character like Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime.
I think again, he might just have too much on his plate.

God, I've been waiting for Steve blum to voice SOMEONE for years (especially Starscream, that makes me happy in the pants). At least with Jeffery Combs being confirmed (and Micheal Bell auditioning), we know VA's are coming from the California pool, not the Canada pool (so sorry Beast fans, no Terzo, McNeil, Sobolov, Chalk, or Parker in this series)

General rule of thumb guys: If the actor has provided a voice on Justice League, they are game for being cast in Prime. This also goes for all the cartoons who use California based VAs: so most of Disney is game as is Family Guy, Simpsons, anything else Warner based, etc.

I don't care who the supporting cast of characters are, but for Megatron and Optimus I'd like to see Gary Chalk and David Kaye return.

You're out of luck there, sailor. David Kaye himself has confirmed that he won't be doing any voices in Transformers Prime.........at least not yet, I hope.

Wasn't it confirmed that Michael Bell will be doing a voice, and that David Kaye will not be doing any voices in TF: Prime?

Sure would like Peter Cullen to continue to reprise his role as Optimus Prime.

    Irons should do Megatron.
But then, Corey Burton's Megatron does kind of sound like Scar from Lion King.

I had a whole list of who should voice who in a thread a while back.
