To me, it looks like a cross between Movie-style (simplified), WFC-style (in Earth-modes), and Animated-style.

Starscream is badass. He looks a bit like Slipstream with those colors, though. I'm sure it's just the lighting in the "scene."

We finally see Bulkhead and probably Soundwave as well. Not much to go on for those two, but they look very bulky. Well, obviously Bulkhead's bulky.

pretty cool looking but what are the toys going to be like? the characters look really...jagged

 

i kinda dont like how they are making starscream look like the main villan and c.j. is the hero and arcee is his g.f.

but all looks are cool and if you miss out on tfa screamer just by tfp screamer since they are like 90% the same  or the other way around.

 

What's with the claw like hands?

 

That starscream cover makes him look like a 1950's scifi robot. I love it.

 

Yea, not feeling them at all, too organic looking.

looks more like ratchet than bulkhead to me.

this preview of the comic has actually given me hope for the series.

I've taken 2 things from this:
1.The book ISN'T about Bumblebee!!!!!!
2.Starscream looks awesome, and VERY Animated influenced.

 

I was afraid of this looking a lot like Animated. I like Animated as Animated, and if they wanted the next series to have the same style they should have just kept Animated going. I wish each series could have it's own aesthetic. Too much fanwank I think.

*Not hating on the show, I think I will like it more than Animated because it doesn't look as cartoony, but I would just like to see more differences.*

hmmmm i gotta see toys of these to make my judgement. i only got hooked on animated when i saw how the toys looked.

So Starscream is a combination of his Animated and TransTech designs. Cool.

Still really digging Cliffjumper's design. Wonder how he's getting away with that much focus. Can't see much, but Bulkhead's design still looks like his animated counterpart.

And there's a guy on page 7 that looks a LOT like Lockdown...
