After this episode it also seems like they've got a fair few human designs rendered. I'm liking.

Rendering humans ain't really hard looking at things.

Problem is the robots! So many details, joints, moving panels, then gotta do a transformation, then vehicle mode that many times also got moving stuff like deployable weapons wheels and etc. etc. etc.

It makes you feel bad for the poor animators really

Definitely another great episode from Transformers Prime. Not sure it's my favorite one so far, but it's high-up on the list. Just going to touch on some of the highlights.

-Bumblebee getting some more characterization was really nice. I love how his...voice sounds like some old video games. He's definitely my favorite character so far.

-More of Arcee and Jack was nice. Most especially for Jack, who I actually sorta like now, lol. He's no longer just the anti-Miko. Also, I couldn't help but chuckle a little at Arcee surfing on Knockout.

-Knockout was really good, especially his reacting to the smallest of scratches. I'm looking forward to seeing more of him in future episodes, and I can't wait to see his Deluxe class toy.

-I found Brakedown buffing Megatron's armor quite funny.

-Starscream's turning out to be a very compelling character. He's trying so hard to prove himself to the others, that I actually feel bad for him. I'm looking forward to seeing more of him.

To sum it all up, one great episode in what is slowly becoming a really great show, and imho, the best Transformers show to date. Only negative to this, was the lack of a preview clip for next weeks episode.

Edit: Just some food for thought, but only twenty more episodes and Season 1 of Transformers Prime will be finished :ev:

I was expecting this episode to suck, but I actually really liked it. Every scene with Arcee or the Decepticons is brilliant.

Call me when it's something other than an ambiguous name-drop.

And Scraplets were preeetty different from the old days.

About the only homage worth standing up and taking notice of was Skyquake, and...well.

This show ain't a Transformers fan-wank fest like Animated was, that's all I'm sayin'. There's plenty of other fan-wank in here as it is.

Oh! And who could forget the homage to Phantasm in the last episode?

Seconded. Wave 2 needs Knock Out. No, wave 1. NO. Preview wave. I'm looking at you Botcon. On a different note, Knock Out is the ONLY Transformer I would buy an RPM/Speed Star toy of. That vehicle mode is smexy. I almost cried when that racer scratched Knock Out's door.

But Prime Scrapulets look like they're based on Mechanibals, which are from the Marvel G1 stories.

This episode was truly spectacular. I'm still waiting for the show to live up to how the tone (it feels a lot more epic than it is), but the dialogue and characterization in this show is spectacular. Starscream is becoming one of the greatest decpticons/predicons of all time. He just needs to surpass BW Megatron in my books. But he's seriously almost there.

Back in the G1 days, Starscream kept trying to kill Megatron and Megatron just laughs it off. Nowadays Starscream is in charge and if you defy him, you are punished. He doesn't take crap.

Just realized that Starscream punishing Knock Out could mean that beautiful vehicle mode is permanently damaged. Between Killing Cliffjumper and possibly scarring KO, Starscream's finger may be my least favorite weapon ever.

I hope that Knockout is permanently damaged. It would say something about both Starscreams character, and really once again set the tone of the show.
