Again this may be the only relic hunt for this season for all we know so why can't we just wait and see if it's the only relic episode or not first?

Because its a filler episode... that's what the term 'relic hunt' has become known for - filler episodes. Its bad enough just having one of them - especially in the final series.

A bone relic sounds interesting, the "bone" part in particular. Cybertronians don't really have bones, do they?

Hasn't the fans had enough of potentially suggesting human/robot relationships by now? When June said "and I wore my heals and everything" when Ratchet said Optimus wasn't there, it was obviously a joke that Jack wasn't interested in hearing.

And for those who are going to say: "We know it's a joke." it doesn't seem like it because people are constantly bringing it up.

As for the Relic Hunts, oh boy.  

 

I'm going to ignore the double entendre and ask: why do robots have bones?

 

Another relic. Is anyone really surprised?

 

Why do Robots have parts (t-cogs) that apparently are not replicatable, but they somehow have installed in the first place, CNA (where for a robot any form of nucleic acid would not be found) And in the movies more bodily fluids than the fleshies? I figure in a show or two we'll find out Protoforms hatch from eggs laid by fembots.

 

Hopefully the bone is a key to getting a new beast on the Autobot's side.

 

The alternate title was "How Fowler got his groove back".
