This stinks if it all pans out, but normally the networks only order so many episodes of a series then after that they can repeat them all they want. This has been the norm for TF series lasting only 3 seasons. A lot of kids shows run like that. I hope they don't go all beast wars again. Thats not a knock at that show. I loved that one, but maybe a blended with machine animals and vehicles. They could end up ending this series and doing another show after with the same characters like Beast Machines. Just hope not plant or half mammals bots.

Kinda disappointing, as a full 26 episode third season would have been nice, but it's also kind of comforting to know that they aren't going to allow the show to get stale. Looks like Beast Hunters could actually be the follow-up to Prime, rather than just it's third season. Which, as far as I'm concerned, is great news. Also sounds like BH not coming till fall of next year could actually be a possibility.

Hopefully they give Prime a satisfying end. I know it's going to continue with Beast Hunters, but it would be nice for these three seasons to have an ending of it's own, so that if BH sucks, we still have a satisfying stopping point.

Should be interesting to see what all they've got in-store for Beast Hunters. Most especially toy-wise. Also, I REALLY hope this transition doesn't keep Hasbro from releasing an Ironhide and Smokescreen stateside. A Hardshell wouldn't hurt either, though in his case I wouldn't mind a FoC version of him released in Generations.

Makes me wonder, with Prime having a grand total of 68 episodes, what the chances are of them releasing a full-series DVD... :hookday

Season three will likely wrap up the 'earth' storyline for the Prime/Alinged continuity. I forsee some sort of victory on the Autobots behalf, where they can leave Arcee/Ratchet/Smokescreen etc on Cybertron (or possibly even Earth) while Prime and Bee go elsewhere in the galaxy to explore, and end up on some sort of 'beast hunt'.

It just sounds like a stupid name. Beast Hunters.

I got it! The series will spin-off with the "Beast Hunters" w/ Smokescreen leading autobots (or maybe maximals) against Thundertron & his predacons! :p

I dunno. Something seems off with this sudden announcement.

As usual, truth or not, I don't take stock in any so-called statement until Hasbro or The Hub make an official announcement.

I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this from Prime fans, but...

    I'm sorry.

I think this may be the only time in which I'm actually happy that the movie line is shitting all over the current toyline fans like.
