I have to say I'm impressed. I thought the CGI looked really impressive for a TV show, and I love the fact that it's in the reboot-WFC continuity. I love most of those designs too; Ratchet especially has a very boxy WFC look, but subtly influenced by the movie.

I was sceptical, now I'm actually very hopeful. I like the movie designs, but I hate the movie continuity, so this show may turn out to be something I really love.

Look good, I think there are some good and bad elements to the designs - but it's mostly good.

    BB & Prime look great.

Megatron lacks a little originality, I think. I don't know how to explain it, but I feel like I've already seen this Megatron before.

Ratchet & Cliffjumper are cool as well. Glad to see Arcee back (and as a bike), but her bot mode is kind of... boring. I would have pretty the wheel feet like in ROTF.

Decepticon troopers look like Cylon rip-offs. And I've always hated the use of "clone minions" in Transformers, it's boring and feels like a cop-out to me.

Also, where the hell is Starscream?

After looking through the cast again, I think Arcee is the worst looking one. Maybe its her head, I'm not entirely sure. But the blue scheme is pretty decent. As for the humans I think Raf looks sorta like J.J Abram... maybe due to Orci and Kurtzman's friendship with him? =P

Wow... they've taken so many movie aesthetics it's unreal. Looking at Prime, Bee, Megatron and Arcee... it's so obvious. The show looks pretty cool, though.

I really like the designs. Cliffjumper has a nice classic-looking vehicle mode, which is an unusual choice, though a good one. I love Arcee and Ratchet's look too.

Now if only there was Wheeljack. *Sigh*

God, no. While I'm not a huge fan of the movie aesthetics, they are far better than the goofy animated designs.

What the hell WOULD impress you then? For a kids based CGI tv show I think it looks terrific!

these robot designs have got me genuinely excited. Looking forward to seeing this. Really like the human designs as well. Not happy about it being cgi, but I can deal with it. Not sure about prime's chest windows and head, don't like the spiky haired nerd kids design either. the rest looks good though.

*Sigh* I would like something that actually strays from the movie designs. They look too similar IMO. While I hated the story for A/E/C, I did like most of the designs (there were bad ones like Hot Shot and Energon Prime).

Sorry to have a dissenting opinion.

Looked like early era CG to me. Shaders, textures, and animation are all horribly sub par though to be fair it was supposedly "just a test". I could make something more impressive than that given about a weeks time in all seriousness.

I wish they would just drop the whole Bay look and reboot Transformers properly with a more mature style, both in visuals and story telling. I haven't played WFC yet, but I'm hoping that's what I'll get.

So far, I like it. A lot! And for all you guys and gals that despise the movie designs, get used to it. Hasbro's investment into these animated, pseudo-movie designs means they are in it for the long haul. This look is the brand image for the foreseeable future.

decepticon clones looks very much like it was influence by the most recent version of Battlestar Galactica's cyclones.... Prime definitely looks good to me. Also the approach to this seems like Autobots earth base vehicles v Decepticon's alien looking vehicle.

The fact that there are going to be Decepticon drones is giving me a Beast Machines vibe. And not in a good way.

I like everyone but Prime and Bumbebee, though I'll wait until I see some toys before I care. Hopefully The show has good writing and such.
