Didnt see a feedback thread so here it is. Not One I was really looking forward to but I wanted the main cast in the RiD scale so I got him (and he's the last Prime toy in my local Argos untill 20th of Feb...) Well lets start with the vehicle mode.

Looks like his on screen vehicle and the First Edition Bumblebee. Not much to say. Some of the yellow doesnt match up.

His guns can be combined and mounted over the engine. There is no other place to hide them in this mode.

First Edition on the right. RiD Bumblebee is slightly smaller.

So the vehicle mode doesnt look too bad. Kinda expected though. But the robot....

WTF is THAT?!?! I wish this was terribly mistransformed but thats it. The instruction end at... THAT. The arms are held at an angle and the head is floating in the air. The waist hinge doesnt not look in place anywhere and the roof of the car is hanging in the air as well. WHY did hasbro have to make his whole chest transformation a automorph?!?! The plus side? He has two guns. Weirdly the holes on his arms are square even though the pegs are circular.

Here he is attempting a pose.

While not spectacular, First Edition Bumblebee blows the Revealers one away. Seriously, what went wrong?

FE Bumblebee can kinda use the guns. Which is another plus I suppose?

    Next to Powerizer Prime.

With the other FE Autobots and Revealers Wheeljack who are all ashamed of him.

So... Did they deliberately make this Bumblebee suck so people would buy the FE? It makes no sense. I'd say avoid this Bee at all costs. I've been stung and want to save others from the torture.

It's crazy how much the FE version completely destroys the RID version in every possible way - wow.

Eh, besides the neck, I don't find it too terrible.

    Wow. That looks awful.

I guess I should be glad that there doesn't really appear to be a shortage of FE Bees. :(

The arms are angled inwards and they're a bit too low.

Wow! Calling this figure of Bumblebee pathetic is a serious understatement. It's like they didn't even TRY to make this figure look good and accurate! At least the RID Voyager Optimus had more thought out into him somewhat!

Either way I may probably get the Hot Shot remold of this figure because while not perfect at least it doens't look like a bitucherd version of an already onscreen character!

...Are you SURE those shoulders can't move a little bit further up? It's just so... ugh.

Hopefully I'll be able to find a FE one before it's off the shelves. If not, I'll live with the NYCC one.

Those shoulders dont move up. They come out from the side as part of the automorph that also flips the head up and causes the two car hood halves to angle upward. This is as far back as the automorph will go.

I had some high hopes for the figure, the car mode is a lot better IMO. But that neck and shoulders *shivers*

Well, that stinks. I was hoping this BB would be a more play friendly figure than the original (don't get me wrong, I love the FE one), but seeing the final result just makes me wonder what happened when this figure was designed.

Unacceptable. Glad I managed to get the FE Bumblebee already. Anyone who ends up with this version has my sincere apologies.

I don't think it is too bad, definitely the least good of the few RID figures I have (Wheeljack, Cliffjumper, BB and Voyager Prime).
The Arms are really not that badly affected, the only problem I have is that the head section does not sit down flush, but again it is not that bad.

I guess I am just a fan of the Prime BB design and proportions.

I literally cringed when I saw that robot mode picture. Seriously? What's with his neck?

I might buy this because of the weapons to slap on my FE Bumblebee. When a figure gets dissed by kaijuguy, you know it's bad.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot about that Hot Shot figure. Then yeah, I'm not even going to buy this just for the weapons, I'll buy Hot Shot instead since it's at least a different character.

    Thanks for that comment mate!:lol

Myself I'm totally going with the First Edition Bumblebee all the way! I may get the Hot Shot version of the mold instead. Sure it's still not perfect but at least it doens't look like a butchered up version of the First Edition Bumblebee.

    WHAT!?

    What did...what are they...what the...oof.

I thought I could settle with BB, he's my least favorite character in the show. Guess not. Now the only question is, waste time hunting (I'd probably turn one up) or just add it to my preorders...

The weird thing is, I like his car mode BETTER. But I can't abide his bot mode. It worked in (official) pictures!

Wow. You said the entire chest is automorph, maybe some gears are misaligned? I was considering buying the Hot Shot version of this mold as it reminds me of Skram but now I'm having second thoughts.
