So for you guys who have finished the game, what did you think about the explanations for certain things that were previously asked about TF: Prime?

Why are the drone insecticons weaker than the ones that Megatron and Arcee fight?

    Why can't the Nemesis transform?

The nemesis story is pretty sad.

Also if you listen to all of Shockwave's logs about the insecticons, you do get some insight into why some of them are stronger than others, and others are even still uncontrollable and super powerful.

Nemesis being so hostile to Megatron in Flying Minds makes more sense now I suppose.

It seemed to me that Megatron was surprised when the Nemesis came back online.

Pretty cruel that Megatron did to him regardless.

I'm curious as to how the DInobots got off the planet.

Poor sludge too. Isn't he in the upcioming comic book cover though?

I hope (but pretty sure it's true) that they had plenty of dialogues with the Prime writers, to tie some of these ends together. Listening to Shockwave go on about the insecticons reminded me of how much hate the show got for the swarms being so weak, while Megatron struggled with one insecticon. I think their biggest setback was simply not having a different model/color scheme for the weaker drones like the game does.

I do wish the show reflected the three general types, along with mix-matching colors.

In the game, is the "Kickback" sort of Insecticon the spitters? Of course the "Sharpshot" sorts are the general swarms, but then I am confused as to which would be "Hardshell" sorts.

I thought he was named in the game. He's the one you fight inside his hover ship. Basically Bombshell from the 80's cartoon.

Karhunkjnsi is asking if the alt-modes used by the Insecticon Trio match the generic swarms, similar to the Vehicon Generals in Beast Machines.

Some of this was hinted in the novel Exodus...but Awwwwwwww. Still not surprising that Megs would do what he did.

So, FOC provided some evidence to prove it and Prime are in direct continuity? Thats what I like to hear

Not necessarily direct continuity. The Ark travels to earth at the end of FoC, and it's not present in Prime. Also, Cliffjumper is more of a stealthy assassin than he was implied to be in Prime, but looks the same.

I like the connection, and would LOVE more direct continuity, but all this does is further validates the notion that the three mediums are still at least LOOSELY connected.

The game and the show are not directly connected. They are both just under the aligned continuity.

It has been said a LOT that the games were made to be a G1 inspired prequel (meaning they would lead into events similar to the G1 cartoon). It is not, nor has ever been, a prequel to Prime.

They share some elements because Hasbro is trying to create the definitive story bible for the property but that's as far as things go.

DO NOT ASSUME THAT JUST BECAUSE SOMETHING HAPPENED IN THE GAME THAT IT IS TRUE FOR PRIME!
