What the heck is up with Prime's face and shoulders in that cover art? His back and gun look the same, but his face (the part not covered by the mask) and shoulders look like they come from a completely different design. Come to think of it, his antennae are a bit weird, too. Will he get a new body this season or something and they just used that model by mistake when they rendered the cover art?

I noticed that too. It's weird but I actually really like the way that looks.

That being said, who is doing the layouts for these covers? The Season One cover was (just barely) OK but this is just silly! They threw Unicron dead center on the cover with Prime and Megatron added in on the bottom third with no real reason. And the light blue really under plays the apocolyptic feel of the finale.

I know these are probably just quick things for the GD but have some freaking pride in your work!

I don't see the need for this after we've gotten the Season 1 DVD and Blue Ray. I can understand if they are releasing the episodes in different packs at a time like with TMNT 2003 but releasing the season 1 finale after the Darkness Rising DVD seems too early.

Skipping this without a doubt and sticking to my Season 1 set.

Seems kinda redundant, dont all 3 parts of One Shall Fall come in the season 1 DVD/Blu-ray set?

For those who don't want to spend the extra $5 for the full Season 1.

Don't see the point of this. I saw the 1st season DVD at Target yesterday for 19.99. That's what 5 bucks more.

This is kind of annoying. First I didn't get the Animated Roll Out series premiere DVD because I thought it would be on Season 1, then it wasn't. So I bought the Darkness Rising DVD set because I thought Prime would follow Animated's lead in not including the premiere episodes, then had those episodes in with the blu-ray release.

Unless the $20 dvd season 1 of Prime doesn't have Darkness Rising or One Shall Stand, this is bad marketing. Actually, it'd be bad marketing either way.

Okay....so if a person just wanted to buy this and let's say that he or she wanted to also get the Darkness Rising DVD. I saw the Darkness Rising DVD for about $11 and One Shall Stand is about 15$. Why would you pay $26 for a few episodes when you could get the whole season for $19.99 at Target or Walmart?

    It does.

Have both Darkness Rising and One Shall Stand.

I'll probably buy this, cuz I'm a DVD completist.

    That's a pretty cool cover.

A shame that Unicron was literally snuffed out, otherwise, I wouldn't call it false advertising.

That is a marketing strategy. If you buy the "bits" rather than "whole" package, it would definitely be costly, like buying single chocolates rather than the entire box.

Also, Prime's eyebrows are not thick enough... :lol

The season 1 DVD has all parts of darkness rising!? Awesome!

Does it have all three parts of One Shall Fall too?

It's not bad marketing. It's what you would call a soccer mom DVD. A random single for moms and grandparents to randomly buy kids.

Also some more casual fans, and kids, like to simply own multi-part episodes. That's who this single is marketed towards. Kids and casual fans.

It'll be much less than the suggested price too. Probably only around 10 or 11 dollars when it's released.
