My take on Nemesis Prime, I gave him an overall flat look with some wear and tear here and there, some grey and purple secondary apps, red windshields, a removable back pack section (purely preference), which makes him fully transformable too :)  (pics up later tonight or tomorrow of alt mode), and I gave him a nasty cleaver-like battle axe.

All paints were lacquer base coats and enamel detail apps.
He'll be over on Ebay soon...

HIS BACK MODS were actually simple. I removed the pins that held the wheel section in place and set them aside. Basically, the wheel sections now securely peg into place on Nemesis's back 'per preference' and then the door panels pop via ball joints into place on those. For alt. mode, everything securely pegs back into place perfectly.

TRACTOR MODE: The rear back pieces that are removable 'firmly' snap into place like they are one solid piece :)

That is nice! did you take the pins out when painting him? If so, was it hard putting them back in?

Damn. That's brilliant. Great work with the reintegration of the back pieces and a wonderful paint job.

    :)

I took them out before priming actually to make sure it would work out. Then I painted everything once I pegged the pieces back on Nemesis. The pins are still out, the parts just peg right back in nice and tight without the pins. But if the pins were preferred to go back in, it'd be quite easy.

Guys, thanks for your awesome feedback!

Nice! Paintwork done in a similiar fashion as you did on my MP Grimlock (got em', thanks again!) which has a really cool look to it. Kinda comic-y, kinda toon-y, kinda realistic all in one. I'd say you've created your own style that is truly unique! You are hands down my favorite painter here Zac, and your work just keeps getting better and better my friend.

Yes, he can transform. This is why I made the parts on his back removable - so he looks better in bot mode while still being able to transform. This wheel sections on his back just simply peg into place without the pins in both modes of transformation and for tractor mode, they are just as tight and snug as if the pins were still there. So, unless you drop the figure on the floor or wip him against a wall, the parts won't come loose :)

    Thanks Z

Wow! That is awesome. Will you be putting pics of it Transformed soon *nudge, nudge, wink, wink;) *

If you don't mind me asking, why didn't you color the red bits purple? Are you following the regular color scheme of Nemesis? There are some many versions of Nemesis these days, I don't think I know the proper color scheme:p

    EDIT:

Holy $#!+ I just saw your other works. You, sir, a painting genius!

Yes, he is transformable and those pics will come in the next day or so...still curing right now :) . Actually, I was going to make this Motormaster but I didn't have a suitable head for him and then I thought well, Nemesis it is. I did this version of Nemesis Prime because I saw a rendition of a Rotf Nemesis Prime that I thought was killer with purple apps. I did like the red apps too though so I mixed em up a little.

    Awesome Nemesis Prime :thumbs2:

Also, your pictures convince me to mod the backpack on my Optimus Prime.

Yes, please, how did you go about getting the pins for the backpack out? I've been working on a standard metallic repaint of this figure and have not been able to figure out how to get the whole front wheel/back pack assembly off. I've managed most of the other pins, but not these. Were you able to get the head plate off also?

    Thanks!

If you wouldn't mind passing this info around, please share. I'm going to mod the one that just came in the mail today. I haven't looked at it yet, but if there are some helpful tips on how to take pins, I'd love to know them:D
