Finished him up over the weekend. This one was done in a more battle work look taking advantage of the molds texture. Multiple silvers, gunmetals, and grays used over a flat black base coat. Single high intensity red SMD led installed in head, and high intensity purple LED in canon. Made the blade a separate piece from the gun.

that blend of metals over the armor is mesmerizing I love how real that metal looks. The led in the eyes is perfect . I want one like this.

Damn that looks awesome! I liked your first take, but I love this one, just for the show accuracy. Love what you did with the blade too.

I like the flats (hur hur) but I'm not diggin' the lightup red eyes. If lit I prefer the purple but that's just me.
But I LOVE what you did with the sword. Very nice!

Love it! Wish there was some way to make the iris op in his eyes though..really giving it the menacing look to him..great paint work though all around.

Thanks! Give it a shot..... this mold is AWESOME.

    Thanks guys!

    Slacker.....

    Thanks guys!! Much appreciated.

I do too, but for show accuracy I went with red.

I tried.... but I actually replaced the entire inner light piping with a red one, and the eyes are WAY to small to paint on now.

    Thank you sir!

There've been a few of these already, many done well, but i think this may be the first that properly addresses the animation model's shading.

    Looking very sharp indeed.
