A fellow member here and buddy of mine shipped me this Megatron figure several weeks ago. I painted it up for him as a gift because he's a cool guy  

This version got a clean paint app style with subtle glow effects and a more silvery tone of metal than darker show tone.

I used a brighter silvery metal for the main armor pieces and a medium darker metal for him secondary armor pieces (under forearms, thighs, upper arms, face, etc.)

 

This is probably my favorite prime megs I've seen so far, simple and very clean.

Thanks  , this one was done pretty much with all airbrushing with the exception of the purple apps.

 

What color purple is that?

 

Both the purple apps on Megatron and the cannon's darker purple are mixed purples. (little blue and dot of black added to the purple of the cannon) and the body purple had a bit of violet and a tad of yellow added into it.

 

So many nice Transformer Prime Megatron's popping up these days, and here is another fine one 

Once I get done with my first custom (Voyager TP Optimus), I'll start on my Megatron. I hope I can make it look as nice as the ones I see here.
