I think the movie stuff ran it's course straight into ground... Like 2 months ago.. The last wave of DOTM will probably have poor distribution, so I've not gotten my hopes up about getting Soundwave and Wheeljack. Though if I can, I'll pick them up in a heartbeat... But if there's Prime stuff on the shelves I don't yet have, then those 2 can wait lol.

I'm also interested in the DOTM follow-up line and how it's gonna play with Generations & Prime stuff next year... It'd be sweet walking into Walmart with an actual selection of TFs and not just 98% DOTM, 2% Generations.

I'm pretty sure the "First Edition" stuff is the figures they had initially meant to go into the Generations toyline (remember the SKU for Arcee & Starscream that had everyone excited last year?) which is why they're ready earlier than the rest. That explains why the original launch was March and these should have been in Generations.

Wait, that's grammatically all F'ed up. You guys can figure out what I meant.

^^Yeah I remember when everybody thought the TF prime line was just gonna be a few figures for generations. (Kind of sounds funny when you look back on it)

I find it odd that none of the retails have changed anything even with the very soon release of these... If I had to guess, they'll end up on the Generations pegs...

I just came back from akihabara Tokyo. This is what I found:

That's not what I expected and very expensive. These are not sold from a store. The seller rents a display in a store to sell them to to public.
