    Nice review. THanks.
when i first saw him at Botcon he looked kind of lousy but your review changed my mind. He's a definite buy nevertheless.

Really digging this version of SS. I hope all the prime toys look as good as he does.

from what I recall the voyager looked a little better, like you'd expect. Missiles should be here in a couple days.

Between this and the SDCC pics, I'm looking forward to Prime a bit more than I was. The Baynimated toys, as it were, are looking to have a lot of the designed-in personality that Animated did.

@BlackMagnus - very much so. Finally got Peaugh's video to spool up, and the smirk is there too.

I'm thinking this will be a quite figure of starscream where-as with the Animated cybertron prime and the battle pack i thought they were just completely rushed so kids could spend money on an optimus and megatron

If this is the preview type wave, think what it'll be like by wave 4 or 5

Thanks so much for the review! That grovelling pose sold it for me, this is absolutely fantastic.

So bought. The engineering on this figure is really impressive, made all the more impressive by the small Deluxe size and very screen accurate bot mode! Alt mode's not bad but really, the bot mode is just aces here!

Looks great, but I'll pass on it in favor of the Voyager version.

Was gonna pass on this guy until I saw pics of the Voyager.

This one is more accurate (to me), less gimmicky & cheaper - WINS all around!

Pretty much my thoughts. I'm waiting to see final pics of the voyager, but the deluxe is super nice.

I was resisting buying this, but I went ahead and gave him and Thundercracker a shot with the HTS Groupons. And damned if I don't really like them. I've got some gripes about the arm articulation, but I'm rally rather happy with this mold. May even make this mold my Movie Thundercracker and unload the Voyager one...

I was confused for a second, then realized you're talking about the DOTM mold, not the Prime mold. :lol

This is a miracle of Transformers: Prime CGI to plastic engineering.

I find it stunning that the alt mode is so tiny and the robot mode is so tall. Seems to be some fantastic engineering at work there.
