Diabolical!

 

The mold never looked like Knockout to me, anyway. It's more like they came up with some random design and threw his head on there.

 

Hopefully he will. But Knowing Hasbro, it'll probably be this mold covered in spikes.

 

Why hasn't any one take any photos with the chest sides pointed down all the way, I would assume they would make the mold a bit more accurate to the show model.

 

Someone has, in another thread I think (forgot which one).
The result was that the chest was indeed more accurate, but the shoulders sat alot lower and that just looked weird..  

 

Peg used for crossbow mode goes into the holes on the back used to hold Knockout's staff. I'm sure he'll address it in the review.

I actually don't mind this mold for this character, their chests are pretty similar, but I don't like the arms from the shoulder down. Shoulders should be rounded, arms should be like Bumblebee's.

 

Wonder how long it'll be before someone tries to combine the two...?

 

Just got mine.
Decent representation. Would have liked more decals.
The white plastic is actually a light pearl grey. Only looks "white" under bright lights.
Still a nice piece to have.

 

I got mine from BBTS today. I gotta say when I took him out of the box I had buyers remorse. But after putting his stickers on and putting the micron wings on like Peaugh's pic, I love him.

...wonder how long it'll be before someone separates the doors from the arm & attaches the window/roof/hand to a new panel that allows the doors to be moved to the shoulders in bot mode.

 

Is AM smokescreen a must have?

I recently broke down and ordered am smokescreen, mainly because I really like his character. The figure itself, at least in pictures, doesn't really impress me. Does anyone have him and like/love him? Dislike/ hate him? Are there any others thinking of getting him simply because he might be the only clean version we will see?

He looks ok when you put the micron on his back to kinda make it look like the doors are on his back the way it should be.

But I think he really needed a whole new mold. Cop out in my opinion.

 

I like him a lot, but I'm one of the few who isn't bothered by the fact that he's a remolded Knockout.

Someone who owns a Smokescreen already, can someone tell me how to make it look like that?

 

Crap, now I want one too, but just the retooled head. Because I can see how that would make a totally awesome Prowl with the way Knock-Out's chest forms and the fact Smokescreen's head pretty much IS Prowl.

 

You can't even mod the doors into the right position without destroying his arms completely. IF you can't even fix a figure with such an obvious problem, then - to me -it's not worth it.

 

He is a must have in my opinion. I got mine yesterday and did the micron wings mod. It's easy to do. You just take the micron wings and slide them down in the space between his back and wheels.
