I hadn't heard or seen anything about this, but I came across a whole bunch of DVDs at Walmart in Algonquin, IL by the Transformers toys that had Episodes 7,8, and 10 on it. The DVD is only $3.97, according to the price checker I scanned it on.

We need the full series on Blu Ray. I know it was broadcast in HD, just not in my area.

I don't bother with DVDs like these unless they're the only ones available. I think I'll wait for the full season 1 DVD and Blu-Ray set, not counting the Family Entertainment pack coming in December since I'm only grabbing that for the figures contained.

Considering all the new stuff coming out lately, I'd say not long.

New DOTM Voyager, Prime BB and CJ being found at a toy fair, and now a DVD being set up, I'd predict we'll be seeing them before the end of the month if we're lucky.

Strange. Though this also implies that there's toys coming out soon.

As for people whining "BUT WHAT ABOUT THE FIRST ONES", I'm pretty sure "Darkness Rising" is what's included w/ the toy pack-in.

Hopefully we do get complete season sets though, and soon - I really like the business model Lucasfilm adopted with Clone Wars where they release the complete season on Blu-ray a month or two after the new season has begun.

Darkness Rising is it's own DVD.

So let's see. DR set is the first five episode, Entertainment Pack has 6, and this has 7, 8, and...10? WTF happened to Convoy?

Actually, Darkness Rising is getting released on it's own, and the only episode included on the DVD in the Entertainment pack is "Masters and Students".

Sure I'd rather see the entire season 1 on the shelf. But for less than 4 bucks, I'd be happy to take one of these home.

This is a smart move by Hasbro. The Hub is one of the channels that many people don't know about. So many people have no idea TF Prime even exists. This DVD is cheap so much more likely parents will get it for their kids. Episodes are stand alone so they can enjoy the disk as is. It also works as advertising for the toys about to hit. This isn't for hardcore TF fans, this is for the people that will make the line a success. Success=longer show life.
