This interview shows us never seen before footage and toys for the Japanese version of Transformers Prime. These type of interviews are pretty interesting and it tells us a lot about the show and marketing.

    Enjoy!

Cool. Optimus' Minicon looks much better in this video than in any photos I've seen. I might have to preorder him :)

    Interview with Transformers: Prime Designer

Didn't see this anywhere else, my apologies if it's a repost.

    TRANSFORMERS PRIME
Interview with a TF: Prime designer on TakTom's youtube channel, where he talks a little about the design aesthetics, transformation and accessories (arms micron) of Prime figures.

I'm going to have to disagree with the group. While those mini-cons are neat, those ports make the remolded sections look terrible.

Nice little fluff piece, but the designers interview I want to hear is with the team that did the current RiD toys.

No, unless I'm misunderstanding, he's one of the guys who designed the Arms Microns.

Yup, misunderstood. he was one of the key designers and the microns were designed by the same person/people as the toys.

Hasbro would be mad not to do a gift set of these. Did the Universe Minicon sets sell well enough to make it worth their while?

Nah,Hasbro will not be mad because all come from the same company, they must have done a discussion before there is the Japan version which consist of Arm Microns
