Good to hear it's sold out, sold out means popular and that could translate into ticket sales this July. Because I believe a healthy mix of both fans and non-fan comic readers that have bought it.

And it disproves what Knenon Transitt posted. Obviously those sales estimates must've been a "bit" off if the comic's sold out

well..it might have only did sell ~2800 copies. It didn't saw how much it actually sold. My local comic book shop only ordered 15 issues...basically only to cover those who has boxes.

    But good news whatsoever.

So, are they planning on putting out a graphic novel compilation of these comics eventually. Something in book form, sturdier than individual comic books, you know?

The numbers are accurate. "Sold out" just means that IDW sold all the copies they had printed.

    I stand corrected :)

The board I got the links to the sales numbers from claimed that the prequel comic tanked. But if it's sold out that means it's a success right even if the amount of printed copes are lower as compared to the other IDW TF comics

The prequel comics have both been great. They, along with the teaser trailer and prequel novel are really changing my mind about the designs and everything.

If the movie sucks ass I can at least look back on this and remember how much fun it was to anticipate.

Wait a minute. Does that mean we'll see the movie in a comic book before we can see the movie? I'll read that about as quick as I read the leaked script. I didn't and I won't.

This is OBVIOUSLY about the prequel COMICS and not the movie itself. Is it really necessary to start that dead horse of a debacle all over again? :redface2:

And if it's about the article itself it's still not worth dredging up this issue again. At least not here.

Thankfully I quit reading comics, besides that from my experience most comic movie adaptions are POOR retellings of the movie they're based on.

Back in the day, my family never took us to movies. We had to wait for the VHS to see a blockbuster movie. I had read the comic adaptation to T2: Judgment Day. When I finally got to watch the movie, I regretted reading it. Even though it was a poor adaptation, it still pretty much mirrored the movie. I knew everything that was gonna happen before it did. It ruined the movie for me. That's why I don't read movie adaptations or leaked scripts anymore.
