I was pulling the freight out to stock the shelves and found some Transformers Pens based of the movie characters. There is Bumblebee, Megatron, and Prime. These are spinner pens with rubber figures that spin around the top from a string like thing. I will try and get pictures when I go back to work on Tuesday.

I forgot to grab the sku, I'll get it on Tuesday. They go in section 4004, by the registers, next to our 20oz sodas fridge.

does this remind anyone of another 80's franchise which was marketed in every which way possible about 20 years ago? here's a hint; "Cowabunga, dude!" I swear it's a vicious cycle.

Yeah, because there weren't any other 80s properties that got that kind of viral marketing. *WHISTLES WHILE TRYING NOT TO NOTICE THIS SITE*

Those pens look like they'd be impossible to write with. Something dangling off the end of a pen really throws off the balance when you're trying to write with it.

Now, if they made a nice Cross type pen+pencil set with Autobot or Decepticon logos carved/molded in, I'd be on it in a heartbeat.

Hmm. Maybe I could get that made somewhere.

I also saw these at Office Max, so you can get them there as well.

I also saw some other cool pens called TUL that are not Transformers but look really nice, bought a pack for myself.

Why is it Louisiana never gets anything? I work at Office Depot and none of the Office Depots in my district have any. And there 4 Office Depots that are an easy drive in my area. Poo Louisiana.

They aren't even ink pens. There is no ink or anyway to write with them. It is just a plastic tube with a spinner on top. I was going to buy them and noticed they are not pens. It is crap so I didn't buy them. If they were ink pens I'd buy them.
