Well, he did have time to brace for the Autobot assault. I look at it like this: a boxer knows a flurry is coming, grits his teeth, leans in, and takes it like a man. Then, as he's standing there, a bee stings him on his ass. Is he going to be pissed? You bet.

Any explanation as to how Shockwave came to be there? Last I saw of him was in LSOTW when Overlord released him in exchange for taking out an inhibiting circuit.

 

So where does Bumblebee end up both times Magnus transforms?

 

the same place where prime's trailer goes when he transforms.

 

ha yes! but that would make sense if magnus trailer disapears but it doesn't it is part of him.

i must admit that annoyed me how he kept transforming but every time he was a truck again, the scientist and bumblebee were back in his trailer... Im sure if its savagely bad story telling or if there is a logical explanation.

Maybe they were supposed to be the other truck but alex drew it wrong.

Unfair. After LSOTW, Shockwave was seen helping Soundwave rebuild Megatron.

 

I think enough time had passed yes? Remember, LSoTW took place during AHM.

 

He was pretty clearly crawling on the floor after the shots. But damn, callback to his comment about Skywarp? Yes. I actually liked that part.

Writing's still shaky, but it was an improvement, anyway.

After the last 2 issues I highly doubt it, to me at least it's become quite clear Megatron is in command of his own actions, even if he is half insane. If Shockwave really was pulling the strings I have no doubt he would have Megs doing more than focusing all his efforts on destroying a mudball like Earth. It defies logic! 

As for Shockwave, remember his release in LSoTW was intended as a flashback, very likely sometime during the events of AHM, it's not unreasonable to suggest he hooked up with the other Cons shortly after he left Garrus-9...
