    Y'know... that's a good point. I think you've really hit on why the humans in Costa's run are so bland-to-irritating. They really are mostly there for exposition. He also really overuses the "newsreel" and "talking heads" approaches, which themselves are not helped by Don's discomfort with drawing non-robots (though he is getting better).

    hahaha, when I saw that shot of megs i thought "wtf?" in context, it was only kinda funny.

    Yeah, I have to admit that, amidst all my vitriol and disdain for the overall direction of the Ongoing currently, the Megatron "Gadget Phone" actually got a smile out of me. The only smile of the issue, possibly, but I kind of liked it.

    It just treads that line between being a subtle homage and being way goofy. I mean, if MP Optimus can have viewscreens in his forearms, why can't Megatron have a Gadget Phone? :)

    hahah yeah i thought it was in goofyville. shame though, you'd think he would've at least sprung for a hands-free device.

    What happens if Megatron "pocket-dials" someone in the middle of fight? It might just sound a little bit... like this...

    You know, if Megs was constantly calling Soundwave and he was #1 on his speed dial, one could say Soundwave is his right-hand man...
