    or just get a web site like transformerland.com set up ...do a cart shopping system and advertise that site on google, fan sites, etc.

    once you have the store online and running it does not take alot of effort and time...i run a ebay store and deal with it each nite in my time free after work and other activities...i take pictures and start new store items when i have the free time to do it.

    so yeah it will take time UP FRONT...but once it is all listed...hosting fees are not alot of $$$ now a days for a site.

    EDIT:

    ASSUMING...that you have storage space and the $$$ to acquire that giant beautiful collection of transformers to begin with.

    I am in the crowd that believes with the time and patience you could atleast double your $$$

    I just cant believe that douche had the balls to offer that guy $5,000 for all his toys, thats a major kick in the balls!!! He had a very impressive collection, but I would of never sold mine to make a room for the baby. Just store em in the basement till the kid is in college lol

    It's called "make him an offer he WILL refuse". It was blatenly obvious the pawn guys wanted nothing to do with them.

    The seller is asking a pawn shop to buy them at retail value by walking into a few rooms full of Transformers. I would bet money most of them were not 100% complete as well.

    I dunno. Im in the camp that the guy was Lazy. as G1 Cindersaur said, Its pretty easy these days to get something up and running. And he could have made a hell of alot more money...

    I Have kids....EVERYTHING changes...But I would try to be smart about it.
