You can all relax. The new air travel rules still specifically allow our beloved Transformers...

Maybe that will silence all the people whining about boredom because they can't have their MP3 for a few hours...just bring your MP Optimus Prime instead!

What's funny about this is that as a kid in the mid 80s, I actually got pulled out when they xrayed my carryon bag. I had some small Joes and a ziploc baggie of weapons, and I had to empty my bag and "explain myself". Man, my Mom still cusses about that, and it's been 20 years.

I was wondering about this. Well, Im still not bringing a G1 Megatron, or any gun TF on a plane. But now I can bring some along to occupy myself when I go to Europe next year. :)

I thought that only the likes of Megatron and Browning weren't allowed.

I've been carrying TFs, specifically alternators in my carry-on for years now, mostly because my bags are typically full when returning from the USA. :redface2:

Wow this is old news, TFs have been allowed for quite a while now. I remember viewing the list a couple of years ago and remarking to a couple of friends about it.

But I do love Kickback's remark about RW :lol

    I wasn't even aware they weren't allowed.

    Except P38atron of course.

I find this highly amusing. I work for TSA out of La Guardia Airport I just happen to look at the permitted items list and Transformer Robots were on it. I chuckled a little. Its not as bad as it seems guys. Besides a few ladies gettin mad that I have to take thier liquid and cream based make up products, its been pretty easy. If you guys fly alot out of La Guardia, Im in American Airlines terminal D. Ask for Walter...

If they weren't allowed, the airports suck at security. I've been taking Transformers on planes for 3 or 4 years in a row after 9/11.

But MP/20th Optimus IS a weapon. You could bludgeon the hell out of somebody with that thing!
