Ugh. Yeah, right, Megan Fox's performance was masterful, because, you know, she was hot.

Does anyone actually respect the MTV movie awards?

I hope Transformers wins something even though these awards don't mean anything.

No best fight or best villain nominations? Well, I'll sure be watching it.

Isn't this redundant news? I mean, wasn't "Transformers" featured on LAST YEAR'S MTV Movie Awards show? I seem to recall Tyrese & Josh Duhamel standing in front of the alt-mode models of Bumblebee and the other Autobots talking to an MTV reporter about the movie.

Hate how the Oscars snubbed this film.

Further proof that MTV has ceased being a indicator of what popular culture really is.

No offense to Megan Fox, but "Breakthrough Performance"?
No one in the movie had a "breakthrough performance" except maybe Shia.
It's just not that kind of movie.

You're right, Transformers took home the award for "Best Summer Movie You Haven't Seen Yet". As far as I'm concerned, this year's awards don't matter, because if you can win an award without anybody seeing your movie, there's really nothing left to prove :p

Hope they win at least one award, but why is there no "Most Badass Movie Villain" category? Bonecrusher would win easy(he hates winning, but not as much as losing)

With that competition to go against, there is no way Transformers anything should have any business winning any of those categories.

    "Breakthrough Performance" by Megan Fox......riiiight.

As was pointed out last year, MTV is owned by Viacom, who also owns Paramount and Dreamworks, who made the Transformers movie.

So like last year's 'awards' crap, this is rigged to cross-promote Transformers.

I am equally apathetic about this and even with the MTV Awards not amounting to anything relevant it certainly doesn't deserve wins in those categories IMO. I can enjoy the movie like anyone but Shia a better actor than Denzel Washington? Not really.
