When I came to these forums, I knew I wanted to make a comic. But after viewing so many photocomics, I knew I wanted to be different. I wanted to be unique among the many great comic members. Then I noticed something. Everyone else worked the photocomics deal. If I wanted my comics to be unique, I know I couldn't rely on fancy sets or rare figures. I would have to do something that nobody here has ever tried on this forum.

I would have to DRAW my comics. That's right. DRAW.

So far, the only tool I have, computer-wise, is MS Paint. Hopefully, I can convince my mom to upgrade, but until then, I have to use Paint and drawing materials to fit my needs. This isn't your average adventures of action figures story. This...

    ... is TRANSFORMERS: NEXUS
OP THEME: BELIEVE IN NEXUS by MASAAKI ENDOH!
ED THEME: Uninstall redone in by Kasane Teto.

Chapter 1: Prime's Newest Challenge (Updated as of 10/17/10)

Hope you like this comic for all it's uniqueness... Yes, I know I'm not as good as some other artists, but bear with me, okay?

    ARC 2: Neon Apocalypse Transformelion
    ARC 3: Deception
    ARC 4: Peacetime's End
    ARC 5: The Student Tournament

EDIT: Also, one of the Mods merged another comic I was doing, The Room Wars, with this comic thread. I've deleted all posts of mine from that comic, but others haven't, resulting in a few random posts from that comic thread to remain. Deal with it, please.

Its a tad sloppy. Still, I guess if you're able to tell a decent story that's what matters. You may want to work on your lettering though. Oh, and use a ruler or straightedge.

... Okay, that comic was a little sloppy. I plan on updating it sooner or later. Thanks for the feedback!

Hey, keep at it. The more you draw, the better it gets. I like the faces. They're simple but expressive. Looks like a fun story, too.

Occasionally we get a drawn comic here. Mekboy-John had a hilariously satirical one, one neternity ago, called "Malformers", starring the heroic Optimus Ice Cream.

Yeah, Prime's still a dick here. But I think I improved a little.

Looks less sloppy which is good. Lettering still needs some work but at least its readable. Plotwise, hmm, something's starting to get interesting.

Glad my relatively different comic's going over so well. I'll probably get better and better as I go along, but until then, here's another update for this comic (I draw a lot, M'kay?)

    Chapter 3: Meeting the Newbies
    [IMG]

I bet you can't guess the names of those three Autobots... heh heh heh. (Word Bubbles added via a combination of Comic-Life and MS Paint.)

Now that's what I call great lettering. :D  And :lol  the things that are going on are really starting to take an interesting turn. Bee seems to be channeling Sasuke which is just plain scary. Actually this whole line up vaguely reminds me of Naruto.

Glad my Prime's Cybertronian Design's going pretty good. Oh, and Wasp will eventually make an appearance... but someone else will show up before he doezzz...

Well, I'm kinda into a Naruto Abridged phase at this moment, so that might've had an influence...

    :lol

Well, now you've gone and let out the secret, Bumblebee. And on that topic...oh dear. I'm sure those are just random nightmares, Arcee. Don't worry your cute little head over 'em. That way lies only Furman. :D

I really like your artwork & character designs.

The new lettering helps a lot! Nothing wrong with mechanical lettering.

The lines are sketchy, the character designs are fairly blocky and simple, panel lines are crooked, and there's random black spatter all over. The great part is all of that works together perfectly, as if you are deliberately going for a retro-amateurish style. It's a great start, especially working out of MS Paint. I assume you have a drawing tablet or something, I can't see anyone doing that with a mouse.

Well, actually, I draw the comics on gold ol pencil and paper, then scan them into my computer, then I copy the actual scanned image, use MS Word to convert it into black-and-white pixels, and then color the black/white image with the colors nessesary. This results in a unique 'retro-amateur' style that only makes it much more unique.

My scanner's kinda under maintenance, so you probably won't bee seing another update until wenesday. However, I've been drawing a lot of comics. about 21, to be precise.
