Woot! I saw it in the paper this morning. Time for a little roadtrip to over the mountains. lol White Sands is HUGE though.. goes from about halway into the state all the way to the Texas border.

I guess living here in Cruces isn't ALL bad.

I get that Bay needs to portray the military in a positive light, and I have no problem with humans putting up a spirited, well organized, and somewhat effective fight, but ultimately we need to get our asses kicked by Megs and the boys.

Take this for an huge grain of salt. I am traveling down there in three weeks for work. I will be staying in Alamagordo, NM (~5-10 minutes from Holloman, ~25 minutes from the White Sands National Monument) where I have been told from people I work with who live down there that there is a run on hotel rooms due to a film crew staying there. May be nothing or coincidence (my bet on coincidence). But it would be cool if I was down there the same time some filming was going on.

Tell me about it, I have had the chance on more than one occasion to drive the length of it.

    Haven't checked, but I'm assuming its Scorpie's G1 tec-spec bio.

I guess it still hasn't been established that Scorponok will be an actual sentient Transformer yet has it?

Well if he's a minion we can at least assume he's on par with Ravage or Laserbeak.

Sooo.... If Scorp is in the film will he transform into a giant desert scorpion or something?

Sounds to me like some info was miscommunicated.

Given that the interview with Bay mentioned a scene with lots of sand and Scorponok, it does seem to hold true.

My money is on Scorponok being more akin to his Energon incarnation.

Didn't the AICN article specifically state that he had giant drills for hands?
