It looks like Starscream is more gray than I remember, but still light tannish gray. I wouldn't call this version any more accurate than the previous version.

 

Thanks for the intel. Thought the FF had something to do with LAFB, but never confirmed. Is the F-22 part of the official USAF inventory yet or what??

And Hasbro was in such a rush that they based the entire toy line on concept art that wasn't finalized.

 

Nice. I really like the mold, and this deco looks great. This may actually end up being one of the very few repaints in my collection.

I've never had a problem getting ANY Hasbro Target exclusive whether they be Transformers or Star Wars. Even if they sell out I've seen exclusives restocked up to 3 or 4 times before they go on sale or become clearance fodder.
And with DPCI you can confirm yourself, official release dates, Target is the premier retailer for a collector.

well, nice ~ i think this mold is pretty poopy overall, mostly do to the giant missile hands, but that deco might make it passable (and since i haven't got a single version of it yet...)

i'm still in for a leader class Starscream and Blackout though ...

 

i think you're being influenced by the surrounding palette...

Nah, I agree with him. In those pics, he does possess a distinctively tan sheen to him, albeit a dull one. Where you can really tell is on the lit side of his face in the first pic.

Seriously dude, an F-22 Raptor is grey. You can't just decide that the fighter isn't the colour it's painted in because you're influenced by a badly coloured Hasbro toy based upon badly coloured concept art and a film where every single appearance of the character has him bathed in certain sunlight due to Michael Bay's film making cliches.

Exactly. He appears to be tan because of the sunlight reflecting off him.

But this is "deep space starscream".....and im gonna pick one up I like it.
