So... well over maybe 30 hours off and on making this guy...
His Alt mode is actually a John Deere Backhoe.
I did this guy for a friend. I think Movie style isn't so well present in this but it did inspire a Constructicon from it!
Not a whole lot of personality in him... probably on of those background brawlers that would've showed up at the end fight... but now he's just a design.

BUT! I still think I need tips on the next because I can't really find any resemblance to the other artist style in Movie Constructicon aesthetics.

For now Comments and CRITICISM (encouraged please- it's what make me a better artist).

That's really great! :thumb  I'd suggest giving him some more weapons. Anyway, great job!

Well, since you asked for criticism... ;)  I think it fits pretty well with the movie Constructicon style. The only thing that feels out of place to me is the big exhaust pipe on his shoulder.

I wouldn't exactly say he lacks personality either, just that the design doesn't have any features that make him stand out from others (Demolisher's unicycle design, Overload's tail spike and four-arms, etc.) This isn't a bad thing by any means, as long as your design matches your intentions for the character. For me, whenever I've approached a movie design I always consider the role and personality of the character first and develop a design from there. The Animated style actually works surprisingly well as a simplified starting point because the designs are practically nothing but personality.

But all that aside, I think you've done a great job.

You should work on chest and legs. And add some weapons. Anyway, That's just a great job! =)

Woah! That totally escaped my thought process when I made this guy... Well my friend didn't specify but I think I can pop out a chest canon... or some shoulder rail gun! Thanks!

Yes! Thank you! I should really streamline this guy... Some John Deere's have an exhaust attached to the cage anyways. Hmmm... more tubing design could work this guy out! I just noticed that this guy is on the small side a bit.

... More weapons it is! Thanks!

Looks really good! I'm really getting a Constructicon vibe from him, although I have to say, I have to agree with Blackout there. He needs something to make him stand out, because all the Constructicons have something unique and alternative for their designs.

    You're welcome. :)

I can definitely see a big cannon adding something to this guy (shoulder would probably work fine but a cannon in the chest or stomach would be a little more bizarre, which is appropriate given the bizarre qualities of some of the official Constructicon designs). If you want him to be a brawler (background or otherwise) then you should probably bulk him up since he's a bit too skinny for a hand-to-hand fighter. That being said, there's some interesting potential with that scoop arm.

Why not give him some "stickers"? I think that could give him some personality/seperate him from the others.

It's cool, ive notice alot of ROTF character have really Huge Body's, and Small ass heads, ive never got that. But Like some have said before, it needs something added. Dont get me wrong, looks cool, shit i could never do that lol. Give him a Canon that eject from the middle of his scoopers on his hands. But keep em' coming, cant wait to see what next.
