Other than 'Arrival on Earth', I don't even remember any BGM in the movie. #1-7's names don't exactly help narrowing it down to when the theme plays.

Simply, the first several tracks are the themes played to themselves ie. not being diluted with the film's action and other themes. Think The Fellowship of the Ring theme played on its own, without being composed with say, the Shire theme.

Doubt it, music made just for trailers is usually only ever available in the trailers themselves. See LOTR for good examples of "cool trailer music you can't buy".

Good to hear it's going to be lengthy. Oddly, in a lot of score soundtracks, a good bit of the featured music isn't featured. I'm glad we get a good number of different tracks to benefit the long wait.

Doubt it. That would be a pretty big retail album if it came on two disks. Even the Revenge of the Sith album only had 15 tracks, and the second disk was just a DVD of random film footage set to music.

Praise on high, TWENTY TRACKS! They did not go the way of the Samurai, hai! Golly, I just imagine myself listening to this bowl of goodness (squee). I hope the "Sector 7" track has the persuit/spillway sequence in it. In other news, I just had a major reality check. I flipped my calendar to the next page thinking October was next month after August and only to discover that I have to get through September to get to October. Wahhh! Its not fair, October can't come soon enough for me! [Wails some more].

    I blame my excitement.

Wow. Way to spell "Skorpinok" really, really wrong. And "Whitwicky", for that matter.

I would have waited an eternity for this, but I'm glad I only have to wait another month!
