Thought you guys might enjoy this. Since the design is being shown in the movie comic as "Inferno", I figured you'd wanna know where it come from.

Maybe they can put him in the next movie as Inferno.  

 

Aaaaw, his head should have been on the current Ratchet.  

And I LOVE that design. LOVE LOVE LOVE. 

 

Hasbro needs to make this as Inferno to pump up the movie line.

I hope an artbook is released with all the different concepts designs they came up with for the movie TFs.

 

I believe there is a movie repaint coming. Just expect the red and white inverted. Much more G1.

 

Is that the reason why there are two Voyager listings for Ratchet?

Oh, and got any others? I would love to see the original Megatron (the black one with a dozen armcannons), Grey Mac Truck Prime or Hummer Soundwave.

i think the current ratchet design is better, but this one is dead awesome! it's almost got a classic feel to it. i dont know if they'll put it in the sequel as inferno, though, because this is a fire rescue vehicle, not a fire tanker like the original inferno was...unless they want to make him a big, stupid, gender-confused ant.

 

If he couldn't be white, I would have rather had him coloured red like this, instead of the yellow he is now.

 

wow, a design that could of been in the movie that i like, i like it alot, actually, i think this is awesome, the best movie design i've seen yet, to bad it won't be in the movie.... my main problem with the current rachet, is the color, i hate green, i think green is a terriable color. but i LOVE red, reds my fav color lol

Wow. I like it. And it actually has Ratchet-like features. I would prefer it in the movie to their current design.

His arms are a bit thin, though. I like the bulk of the current movie design, but the look of this one much more.

 

Let me clarify that his name, as far as I know, is not Inferno. I haven't read the comic, so I don't know. I've just heard it referred to as "Inferno" by a few people. Since it isn't Ratchet now, I'm not sure what else to call him. He may not have a name. Arcee is in the club comic too and can be seen in that preview page art.

 

Reminds me of Patlabor, cool.

 

I like this design for Ratchet much better. Though I wouldn't complain if this became Inferno for a second movie or for a toy. Jazz got to keep his visor for the movie. Why couldn't Ratch keep his '"V"?
