I managed to Snag one of these from my place of work:

Now heres a curious question, if I put that up to bid on ebay how much do you think I should put up for?

It stands about 5 feet high, and can fold up.

A better question is, how do you plan on shipping something that big? It looks like it folds halfway down, but that's still huge.

    A really big envelope.

Do you have any idea of how many of these exist? Inside and outside of stores?

I'd just start it off at ten bucks or so and let it ride. If the movie does well, the bids'll go up.

As for shipping, you can ship that in a big, flat box. UPS and FedEx'll have them. I wouldn't go USPS though. They'll ship it, but they'll tear you a new one because it's pretty big.

I think only KB Toys get that particular one. Some of the bigger stores are getting two, but most only get one.

I was planning on shipping via UPS.
Yeah, only KB toys got that display in, but not all of the stores got them either.

I'll probally wait for a US release of the movie before I put up for bids though.

I asked the employee at KB what they're gonna do with it. She said nobody asked about it so if I give them $20.00 towards some charity I can have it. My friend has a giant standee at Pizza Hut waiting for me so I didn't bother with this one.

That looks remarkably similar to one of my local KB's.

Is that the one in Providence Place Mall?

I think most people that would want one would just go ask their local KBToys...

Shipping would certainly kill any thought of selling the item on eBay. Maybe you could say local bidders only?

I went to my local KBToys when they first put it out, and they put everyone who was interested into a raffle for it. Hopefully they pull my name!

Now the more interesting thing to do would be to try and convince Walmart, Target, or Toys R' Us to relinguish their displays! I've asked just about everyone around here, and I get the same response..."its copyrighted material, so we HAVE to destroy it...blah, blah, blah..." I think thats a really crummy thing to do...why destroy something that would make someone happy? I even offered to donate money to the charity of their choice, and even asked if their was anyone they could refer me to at Hasbro...but I just get the run-around...

Good luck if you try to sell it...but I would certainly keep it! Imagine 20 years from now...advertising will probably be so different, and this thing might really go for big bucks!

Rather than e-bay, I'd just try here first. I know of many a Prime fan who'd be interested, most likely, and there are no listing fees. :)
