and it's still not out in the UK, China, or Japan.

 

I can see this easily getting to 600+ million!

 

If it keeps going at this rate 350million should be pretty easy to get to

 

I'm predicting around $320 million, myself.

 

Yea! It's almost paid for the sequel, too!

US is $207.5M. Worldwide is $558.8M, though. (Of course, I believe HP5's global release was pretty concurrent, unlike TF.)

The money just keeps rollin' in.  

I know I am not done yet seeing it in the theaters.  

It should brake the $500 million worldwide number pretty soon. It will be releasing in a few more countries this week and some more next week.

 

i didnt even know that movie was out yet. i guess that proves how terrible the movie is

I can understand the initial success of Harry Potter 5 given its intended audience and its concurrent worldwide release. But man, was it ever boring, especially compared to TF. Please, HP lovers, don't take it as a diss from a TF fan trying to advance an agenda. I liked the first 4 HPs, honest. It's amazing that it made so much money so fast given that it's competing with other and better stories out there, including TF.

This might have been brought up in another thread, but is there a logical explanation as to why TFs release was staggered around the world instead of concurrent like HP5? Just imagine the total box office TF would be enjoying right this minute if Japan, China and England's totals were in the mix. Harry would be getting the mother of all wedgies from Optimus (well, okay, not Optimus, but definitely Jazz who'd hold him up and say "what's crackin', little bitch?")

 

I am amazed that Harry Potter has spit out 5 movies and I have never seen one.
