Wreckage is so much better than any of the Movie deluxes so far, and a pretty decent and interesting toy on his own merits.

Jazz still doesn't really work for me unfortunately. Too busy.

Well Ill be... these actually look good to me!

 

Wreckage looks really good from what I can see here. He's surprisingly good. In comparison to the other two, he looks great. Almost a G1 Megatronish feel to him. ALMOST. The faces are still an issue for me. Wreckage has a cool head, and the mouth triangle doesn't bother me much, as it looks robotic. Jazz looks kind of cool, kind of like a Patlabor Ingram. Brawl, however... I can't get past that. That face design has to be a crime in some country. It reminds me of something, but I can't think of what. I don't like the beak asthetic that all these guys seem to have, but there's no escaping it at this point.

I like the "Spoiler becomes shield!" line. It doesn't really apply, but I'll probably use that the next time someone's spewing spoilers in one of these threads.

 

Those are slick. I think this is the first time ever for me where I prefer the majority of Decepticon molds over Autobot ones.

 

Jazz has always been one cool cat and now he really looks the part.
The Decepticons look brawny, imposing, and mean. I like it.

I have said this before, but I really like the faction symbols being a color that is appropriate to the character instead of just red and purple. I hope that design choice continues in future lines.

 

The package art for Wreckage's head is definitely less movie-aesthetic than the main characters. I'm wondering if that'll be the case for all the non-featured toys. Anyone know if he's totally toy-line original or was he an early draft character that got the boot?

Anyways, he's awesome. I'm glad Hasbro's throwing us some non-featured toys rather than just variations of the film characters. Gives the fans a little more depth.

And Brawl is incredible period, and more so considering he's a deluxe. Jazz I can dig, but not with the same excitement.

 

Neat, now only Bonecrusher left to be seen.

 

Maybee now those peeps who saw WRECKAGE in prototype form will believe it when peeps say IT ISNT MEGATRONS EARTH MODE! lol

Those all look pretty good, but I definitely have questions about the scorponok on the back.

 

I'm getting a very medevil knight-ish theme from Jazz, it really stands out with the whole sword and shield bit. And I still think his headlights can squish together and slide under his grill to slim him down a bit.

Still awesome.

I like each of these, and will get all of them. I'm still waiting to see some non-cardback pics of Jazz's robot mode. His car mode looks a bit plain, and the painted headlights bring it down a touch. Wreckage looks pretty cool, almost traditional, and his head would have worked very well for movie Megs. I'm glad there will be non-screen characters available.

 

It's a shame Brawl is ruined by a poor head sculpt and cruddy "hands."

so close to being good, but the heads are all so freaking ugly , do they really need to be so busy and cluttered?

over all, jazz first autobot that is close to acceptable,to me any way, still way to busy a design though.

Wreckage looks awesome.

Jazz looks great except for those weird cat lookin' ears...That is kinda odd to me.

 

These still suck. When are they going to give us some nice looking bot modes. The vehicle modes look good, the bots are horrible and ugly.

Jazz doesn't even look like a robot, he looks like a piece of Anime Cat crap with those stupid ears.

 

I noticed Brawl has the same double eye thing going as Barricade. This looks like a reoccurring theme among the Decepticons. If you look at the close up of the Blackout toy's head, it appears he has the double eyes as well.
