Transformers Movie - Goo Goo Dolls Song Title and Upcoming Spoof

    TFW2005 Veteran, Tim Formas has dropped us two bits of information that involve the upcoming Transformers Movie. First off, the title for the previously reported song by the Goo Goo Dolls for the movie will be "Fiction". This press release can be read by clicking here.

    Next up, the Transformers Movie will be one of many to receive "spoof" treatment in the upcoming spoof film: Armageddagain: The Day Before Tomorrow. This item can be read by clicking here.

    Oh gawwwwd... I hate those SCARY MOVIE-type spoofs. Still, I guess it's a good sign if TRANSFORMERS is big enough to be lampooned.

    Probably because it was announced a few weeks ago they'd be doing the 'love song' for this movie?

    Much like Armaggedon had it's love song, used for all of 10 minutes, it's no surprise there will be one in this film too.

    Goo Goo Dolls? Are they even relevant anymore? At least the movie will appeal to Gap girls who still think its 1998.

    Does a movie about giant robots battling each other really need a song? If the filmmakers really feel the need to put a song in there, they should just go with "You've Got the Touch" from the animated movie. That would be a nice throwback.

    Pardon me if I'm not up on the latest news concerning the Goo Goo Dolls, even if it concerns the TF movie. I tend to pride myself on liking music that doesn't suck Goo Goo Balls:lolol

    I hope that someone in that spoof movie whines about how the robots don't look like anything he/she expected and laments about how his/her childhood has been destroyed.
