    Only 2 hrs?

For some reason that seems kind of short to me. But it's good that it was well recieved. Good to hear positive stuff about the movie for a change :)

Good! Personally, I have movies that exceed 2 hours (LOTR, King Kong, Titanic). I don't care how good a movie is, 2h30 - 3h00 for a movie is too long.

After the 26 hour SpiderMan 3, Im all for the under 2 hour deal. Getting tired of these 6 hour no-pee situations. Guess Im getting old. Cant help it, I like me some 86 ounce diet cokes before the movie starts.

I like 2 1/2 hour movies, they develop things beyond the skin and bones of just what is absolutely necessary and thus go beyond 'surface level', something characterwise Bay has never done before anyways.

A Michael Bay movie over two hours in length would be like a two-foot long Snickers bar. You'd go into the eye candy version of insulin shock.

I couldn't agree more. I don't want to miss a second of this movie because I have to use the bathroom.

Otherwise, good news. It seems just about everyone who's seen the film in its proper setting - in the theater - has really thought well of it. And the shorter running time means it's going to be intense with all the action it's rumored to have.

I just hope "just about two hours" isn't their way of saying "it's only 90 minutes"

    I like long movies.

However, I'm sad at how many movies these days seem to think 'length=good' and that's that.

Transformers, I wouldn't really have minded either way, but I'd want that extra time to be put towards more robotty action.

In the LA Times article it was said that the studio had asked Bay to cut the running time and that Bay himself wanted to tweak the ending.

:peoples:  Spidey 3 is only 2:20. Pirates 3, however, is reportedly 2:50. Time to do some Kegels if you're interested in that one. :D

Word. As long as the story's good, longer movie = yay!

Not too bad. My ADD usually kicks in two hours into a movie. :lol  So, the time is perfect for me. :D
