Now, from that list, we can assume that:

-Prime has some type of grappling weapon
-One of Ratchet's main weapons is an axe of some sort
-Jazz is rather heavily armed
-Starscream uses some kind of sword

Yep, this is new. We got a Target DPCI for "Action Battlers" (087-06-1063) a few months back, but this is the first list of products in the line. Thanks for the heads up!

 

Those sound cool. I might pick up a few of these when the come out. Ratchet is my favorite movie character, so I'm probably going to get at least one of him out of this line. That axe thing sounds cool. I hope we get to see some more pictures of all the movie merchandise. Maybe some official and some inpackage pics. Peace out.

 

I heard about these. They're supposed to be along the line of the Star Wars Episode 3: "Force Battlers" action figures but with Transformers.

 

So they're basically going to be large action figures with various types of action features. I recall predicting this exact thing a long time ago.  

 

As with most TF products, a definite buy if they transform, an almost-definite pass if they don't.

 

If they look good I may get them, however when it comes to non-transforming figures, I'm more interested in the Star Wars Unleashed style of figures they're gonna do.

 

While they might not transform into the vehicle mode, I bet there is something on each that transforms. Probably a weapon pops out or something. See action master backpack things.

 

Are these like those "Force Battlers" Star Wars figures? You know, the almost semi super-deformed guys with HUGE weapons?

 

These are probably theaction masters of the movie line.. most accurate figs they'll produce but wont transform

 

I think the toys' weapons are not going to be in the movie..look at batman begins action figures, that have many kind of weapons, jetpacks, etc.. They just toys' feature.. what good is an axe when your enemy has a missile launchers?

 

I doubt they transform. I think everyone is correct about the figures are like the "force battlers". they will most likely have larger limbs and such.

 

Something about them will transform, though. Hasbro's stated with the movie merchandise all of it will transform, somehow (sweatshirts into hoodies was the example I saw).
On that logic, I guess we'll see transforming weapons / accessories for these guys at the least.

 

Hmm, more interesting stuff for the onslaught of movie stuff that is not too far off from slaughtering the stores LOL.

Exactly my thoughts bro. I was thinking maybe it means they will have a quick transformation. Definitely not NOT transform. I doubt that. A QUICK transform
