I so hope its not Tom Hanks. Unless he plays himself, getting squished.

Or bloody Will Smith, either - another candidate for much squish-ness.

And so it begins. Even though I'll be heartbroken when they make it official that no original VAs will be in the film, I will be happy to see the issue finally resolved.

I am the only one who wouldn't mind seeing Tom Hanks in it? Maybe as some kind of president or army guy. Or perhaps playing himself getting squished. Either way really.

I actually enjoy Will Smith movies, IF he doesn't have a song on the film's soundtrack (Ali, The Legend of Bagger Vance, Enemy of the State).

The only "star" who could kill this movie for me would be Ashton Kutcher, but he's hardly "XL" (don't tell him that though).

I saw Comic Book: The Movie last weekend and recalling his work as The Joker in Batman: The Animated Series, I can picture Mark Hammill as Starscream. At one point in his career, he would have been considered "XL."

I know that this could probably put me in a minority of one - but I think that Hanks could do quite a passable Bumblebee.

As long as it isn't Tom Cruise. War of The Worlds was a Travesty of a Film, but it was made 10X worse with him in it.

Christopher Walken as the President FTW.

I predict that in order to spite Hasbro and the legacy of Sunbow, Casey Kasem will be Prime.

No other original cast members will be used.

Megatron will be played by Malcolm McDowell becasue he's 'British' and is therfore automatically qualified to play someone 'Eeeevil'.

Plus his services will be relatively cheap.

In an inspired piece of casting he will be Jazz, Can't wait for the 'MTV special' were he talks about how great it was to work with Bay again.

I have this strange vision of something simillar to the Spandex gag from X-Men 1 - a kid is running around with a toy gun that turns into a robot, a parent looks at it and says 'A robot that turns into a gun?? That's just stupid'.

This is like a horror movie - you know it's gonna be a bloody mess, but still, you can't help but watch.

    It's so true.

My expectations are so low right now, I'm preparing for a big letdown.

Large in stature? Vin Diesel? Isn't it a little known fact that Vin Diesel single handedly defeated Unicron?

That would be cool if he was Spike and while driving BumbleBee, he would continually hit the NOS button.

I totally agree...his work as the Joker was really top-notch. I wouldn't be disappointed in the least is Hammil is cast as Starscream.

Unfortunaly after Comic Book: the movie Hammill, would no longer be considered a movie actor and size. What a terrible movie...

How did Hanks get thrown into this? Aside from the transforming building thing in BIG he has no relation to Transformers. I'm thinking maybe Ewen Mcgregor or Orlando Bloom.

There was some bit a while back on the Tonight Show or something similar and for some reason, it came up, he talked about how he and/or his kids like TFs, he 'sang' the theme song, and has thus had his named kicked around the fandom ever since.

Well, that and he's made like what...37 movies with Spielberg?
