Not to be a total ungrateful terrible mean jerkface because this is a really awesome thing for reference, but the watermarks are really intrusive. That, and it would be cool if the images were bigger and higher res. I don't see any detail that I'm not getting on my dvds.

But otherwise, great work! It must have taken a ton of time and effort and I appreciate that.

The images are 1920x800 when you view full size (click the link to full size in the top right corner of each full image page). It doesnt get any bigger than that from Blu Ray unless you include the black bars on top/bottom.

The watermarks on the medium versions are a bit big, but they are small/minimal on the full size image. Medium ones are designed to be a preview. In case you dont care to see the full size one, no need to load it.

Check the images attached to the first post to see full sized one examples.

The watermarks are small and in the corner of the image as to not take away from the action that is in the middle of the images.

The quality is leaps beyond standard DVD images. The gallery is quite impressive and knowing first hand the amount of effort that went in to capturing these, I thank those (Tony, Joe) who spent time capturing and converting the images.

Great Pictures. Could you post a few comparison pics next to the standard DVD? I'm curious to see just how different they are. I don't own a bluray player yet or an HDTV so I'd like to see them here if possible.

Actually Tony, that first link to an image of 1280x528 has got to be from the HD DVD. The small 640x264 version is closer to what one would get from the regular DVD.

Actually that is true, I didn't do that round of caps. Solid Alexei from the boards did. My bad! :)  I was wondering why those looked so sharp.

    Yeah, they're really sharp!

And I'm glad the watermark isn't very intrusive. Nice work!

Thanks. I'll probably get TF the same day I get a BluRay player and I'm hoping it's soon.

sheesh... don't need to be so defensive...

I didn't say it bothered me... just saying it seems a bit excessive. 4 or 5 particular scenes should be more than adequate, since those are the only times you see a real improvement over the regular DVD upconverted (mostly the night scenes). 9000000 screen caps of the high school class scene seems a bit overdone.

    That's all. Cheers!

I couldn't agree with you more. However, I rented Pixar's "Cars" and that was a FANTASTIC improvement over the original DVD.
