Sweet! I should get mine in on Thursday.
Might pick this up if I find it.
wow, optimus looks small compared to megatron in that preview picture
No kidding! I hope he and Optimus are a little more evenly matched in the Movie...
i can imagine that scene. megatron and optimus staring at each other. they haven't met in thousands of years. what do age old enemies have to say to each other after such a long time...
optimus: so i was with your mother-bot last night...
hehe, im jk. yea i hope they're evenly matched too!
Ok, there are two problems with what you just said.
1. Optimus is apparently waaay too short to stare at Megs!
2. In the Movie "lore", Optimus and Megatron are brothers... so that whole mother-bot thing wouldn't go over well I imagine.
What pic are you guys referring to?
Oh wow. That is quite a size difference. Reminds me of Primal and Megatron in season 1 of BW.
Yeah, Megs has been bigger in a lot of recent incarnations. I think the last time he and Optimus were the same size was back in RiD.
ewww oedipus complex
Must buy one.... 27 days to go and..... yahoooo premiere night...
That idea was scrapped ages ago dude. They've since modified the story so that Prime & Megs were equal "rulers" on Cybertron - but NOT brothers.
one might refer to the other as a "brother" but i dont think they mean it in a "we came from teh same momma!!!" brother
more like brothers in their race [like "hey bruthah!!!"] or perhaps he says it to mock him as they were once brothers in arms or whatever
I... Must... Have... It...
Not according to the coloring books, posted here a while back.
It clearly states that Megs and Prime are brothers.
Can't find the link at the moment, but if anyone can find it, I could point it out.
As for the book.. MUST HAVE.
brutha - or oil bath buddies brother?
Whoops! I accidentally dropped the lube can, Prime! Can you pick it up for me?
I'd love to get this - I remember when they came out with an adaptation of Constantine - they had more in the graphic novel than the movie - and it was better. But that originated from an actual comic book, not toy line or cartoon series.
Maybe they had Hulk Hogan on the shortlist to voice Megatron or something and they had to put that brothers thing in, in order to cover the inevitable slip Hogan would make
Megatron-Hogan> "It's you and me, brother!" *attempts to rip non-existant shirt*
They had this in Hardcover at my local TRU in NJ today. Didn't pick it up cause the wife was already giving the look of death over Movie Prime and BB keychains I bought. Will pick one up tomorrow and post picks though.
