Great nod to toy safety regulations! Fun comic I think it would have been better if the first panel didn't use traced images..I think Cybertron is forgivable because it will look pretty much the same from any angle, but when you place that Steelhaven over it it becomes really obvious - which is a slight shame because the other panels are not bad at all. Two other things would be the radial gradient in the third panel (looks a bit cheap and out of place) and Jetfire's flame (which is only a basic color). Maybe the colorist can look at some reference how other comics/images can achieve these effects without looking cheap, that would really help the overall look of the comic! Good job guys!
Thanks for the comments, but I can assure you nothing was traced (I know, I spent enough time erasing mistakes trying to get it right!). Though if it looks that way I should probably take it as a compliment, right?
I guess that means you're good at redrawing something 'from the wrist' (I really hope this is a saying in English as well, or I'm going to look so stupid ), which is a good thing, but that panel should definitely benefit were the Steelhaven drawn from an angle not so similar to the modelsheet. Don't get me wrong: I really do like this piece!
