The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole. These are some of those stories. This is: It should be noted that while this project has been recognized by IDW Publishing and Hasbro, none of the works presented have been commissioned or solicited by either company. The stories are not official canon, except where noted. These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love. No one has been paid for the production of these stories. Today's piece is titled "Dominion". Story by Keith (Neospringer) Saturn, Art by Josh (DCJosh) Burcham, Letters by Kris (Drivaaar) Carter, Edits by Josh (Richter) van Reyk.
Brillant! It explains the Megatron Origin mini-series in one page and set's up the begining of Infilltration. (with a nice nod to Stormbringer ta boot.) Great job by everyone.
Job's a good one Josh! I've been looking forward to seeing a sequential piece of work from you for some time now. So are you still working on the Classics comic you teased us with a while back? As for the story of this particular Mosaic piece, well untill i get fully up to speed with the IDW universe i'll have to take this as a prequel teaser!!
Very cool. Reflected TC is a neat visual, and I love the focus on the ideology... ...but I knew this was coming This time, though, I kinda agree with you. Coulda had some Megatrony outbursts, smashing tables or something.
its basically the thing that some mosaic instalments bug me. you have good art, and a decent script. but put those 2 together does not automatically make a good comic. you know how some books dont translate well into cinema? thats how i find this piece. if i read it in prose form i might have been impressed, but in comic form i feel its kinda flat. the basic storytelling arc of beginning - middle - end should be applicable whether its a 60 page GN, 22 page single issue and in this case, a one pager. i hope more writers like these recognize the strength of visual storytelling medium and apply them more effectively.
