Poor Dreadwind. With the wrong name on his tombstone, it looks like even in death the guy can't catch a break.
I love the artwork and the tone of this Mosaic! But if I may ask, since I don't follow the IDW comics - is Darkwing dead now? Are they building a clash between Starscream and Razorclaw? That would be an unusual and interesting fight! : ) Tom
Thanks guys! Just to clarify, the tombstone should actually read "Dreadwind," just a typo in the script on my behalf. The scene takes place during issue #7 on the current ongoing series from IDW. Needlenose, Shrapnel and Kickback have just killed Dreadwind and are stealing his parts. Megatron is in stasis and Starscream has assumed command of the Decepticons. There are no hints in the official story about Razorclaw's feelings towards Starscream.
Man, that's crummy! : ( You would think they could sacrifice a less prominent character than Dreadwind... I mean, have they forgotten there are Actionmasters, Firecons and Headmasters out there to act as fodder to make a point? ; ) I hope Darkwing shows up and gives them what they got coming. Again, stupendous Mosaic. Like some have already said, this is a fine example of what a Mosaic should be, as opposed to what it's been for some time. Tom
