The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.

These are some of those stories. This is:

It should be noted that while this project has been recognized by IDW Publishing and Hasbro, none of the works presented have been commissioned or solicited by either company. The stories are not official canon, except where noted. These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love. No one has been paid for the production of these stories.

Aaah, nice to see a casual office of a character... or givin' some hints of their lives before the war and such. :)

Heck, I'd not mind seein' more pre-war/peacetime pieces like this. :)

Al Gore is not pleased by Ratbat's plans. I love the designs in this mosaic, by the way.

Why, this is exactly what our "Seeds Of Deception" comics are about: what were Sentinel, Shockwave, Soundwave doing before war?

By the way, "Building Frenzy" is connected to another "Seeds Of Deception" chapter: the one about Ratbat (of course).
Scrapper will be drawn to the Decepticons through a different path (that Tomoko is drawing just these days!).

    M3G,

First, let me say I mean no offense with the following. I like your work and don't want you to take this as an attack... but don't you think it compromises the spirit of the Mosaic series when you intertwine your creative universe with it? I realise Mosaics are not an officially endorsed medium and therefore are open to each fan's interpretation... but if you have your own fanfic/fancomic/fan series you're working on, is it appropriate to co-opt this series?

Again, I love alot of your work! I just feel it's a bit greedy and maybe unbecoming of an imaginative person like yourself to press your concepts into something that is essentially meant to explore the unexplored side of established characters.

    Tom

PS - And of course, I realise Hook, Ratbat and all the others are established characters. I'm sure the intent of my words won't be clinically overlooked ; )

I understand your point and such a politeness could be hardly mistaken for an attack, but I'd say that the last words go to the Mosaic owners: as long as they are fine with it... :)

However, my purpose is to create one-pagers that are enjoyable as stand-alone, even if they may be interrelated with a bigger tapestry... should the readers feel I fail in this as well, I would say that the thing must stop immediately.

This is not my purpose, though: the one-pagers does not end with a "to be continued", but are instead meant to seize a single moment in history, whatever the chosen background may be.
For instance, "Building Frenzy" can easily be seen as a prequel to "Megatron Origin", instead of anything else.

Edit: Ops, one last note: upcoming stuff will be mostly in G1 cartoon continuity.

I'm glad my comment wasn't taken the wrong way, M3G - you are a talented writer and wish only the best for you and your project! : )

I think the manner in which you posted was very respectful. I wished others had half of the same tact as you displayed. It's very much appreciated :)

I really like the art. It has an EJ Su-style of clean lines, excellent mechanical detail, and an overall slick appearance.

Couldn't agree more, EJ and Jeremy have a most elegant and classy style that I just love.
