...I seriously do love this series though.

 

I'm going to continue to get it digitally, but that's a great cover for a great book!

 

This cover is already better than the Movie Trilogy!

 

man I might get this for the bonus content booty thats bound to be in it.

 

There are only 4 issues in this DOOP and 1-3 of MTMTE, so that leaves like 40+ pages of extra content.
Amazon has their look inside feature up for this book and you can see a page or two of teh extras  

 

This is bought! Great cover! I like that they're portrayed like they're leaping off the cover, not like they're attacking but like they're jumping off to a great adventure, especially with Hot Rod's confident smile. Really hints at the fun inside the book.

 

Day 1 for me. I've been following digitally and waiting for the trade. Excellent series, deserves all the love we can give it  

 

People prefer these designs and art over Pat lee's....um....Why?

 

I wish it wouldn't take so long every time until the next issue is released.

 

I prefer Milne, Don, EJ, Guido, and Casey. I can't stand Roche's style. Too Looney Tune looking for a TFs book.

 

Really? I thought there will be 6 issues: TDOOP and MTMTE #1~5.
Then what will be extras? Cover arts(including RI covers) will take about 15 pages, and still we have 20+ pages.
Roberts' text story? Promo images of main characters?

You're seriously asking that question?

If by "Loony Tune" look you mean actually features expressions beyond mouth-open/mouth-closed and eyes-slightly-wide and gives everyone a unique and characterful look instead of all being just generic-styled, then yes, it's gloriously Looney Tunes.

People need to realise (read: cramed into their skull) that just because somethign isn't drawn to be disgustingly realistic and boring doesn't make it overly cartoony. It just makes it good art.

 

Wasn't it so, that everything Pat Lee drew, that looked good, wasn't drawn by himself?  

 

Because it's... better? I mean, art is subjective, but if you can't look at this art and understand why it is simply *better drawn* that the marshmallowy, perspective-less, inconsistent, copy-pasted, half-drawn, flash-over-substance sputum Pat Lee hawked onto the page, there's no answering this question for you.

 

For one, these designs actually have a finite shape and recognisable proportions, unlike Pat Lee's. Need I dig out giraffe neck Prime?
