Mighty Muggs are cool. If you don't like them why are you bothering posting on this thread? I think they are beautifully done (most of them) and a cool collectible item. And it's cool that transformers are joining the MM club.

Robot Heroes and Mighty Muggs! Y-yeah!

I 'spect he's some sort of Transformers fundamentalist who forgot that Transformers itself started off as toys.

Exactly "TRANSFORMERS" not "Chunk of plastic with some interchangeable paint scheme that sits there and does nothing". I love Transformers, the real kind...Not this distorted and frankly offensive excuse for a representation of a superb and time tested idea.

I don't care for Robot Heroes either, they are about pointless too...Bobbleheads, distorted figures, etc. It's an insult.

You people need to really figure out the difference between "cool" and "trendy"...I'm betting 99% of you own crApple products too.

Well, as you spend a bit more time here, I think you'll discover that people's individual perceptions vary wildly when it comes to what does or does not make a great Transformer product.

Best thing to do is just buy what works for you and skip the rest. There's a good number of MM fans on here and I know they're looking forward to these.

Right, and I wonder why they don't listen to a genius like you and cancel the Mighty Muggs line. Oh wait, I know why. Because they make money and you know nothing. LOL.

Mighty Muggs at their best are very sophisticated design, period. Have you seen the SDCC Iron Man? Perfection. Not trendy - good design. The fun is that they have the same exact shape - and variety through sophisticated paint design. And, buddy... cool is subjective. I mean look at how you dress?! You don't have to buy them, plenty of us do.

And Robot Heroes are super-appealing caricatured versions of great characters. They are a lot fun, period. Again, don't buy them. We will.

Bobble heads are in a different class, if you ask me.

Robot Heroes and Mighty Muggs rule and I'm glad you don't work at Hasbro.

"Trendy" is just marketing Jargon. Mighty Muggs aren't that popular anyway. I see them very often at clearance shelves.

The way I see it, Mighty Muggs are even worse off than regular Transformers. Not only are they not Transformers, but they only appeal to very small group of people who have a very specific interest.

In any case, another Soundwave in my collection is always good, in any shape or form. Isn't that what fans do? Irrationally collecting everything that has to do with that one thing you love?

Mighty Muggs not popular? You're right sir, Hasbro is a non-profit organization working to satisfy niche fanboy markets. They're not a huge corporation who want to make money at all.

Nobody's buying Mighty Muggs? That's why it's hard to find the ones you want in stores? You will find more transformable transformers in Clearance than Mighty Muggs. And don't get me wrong, I loves me the transforming transformers.

If they were not popular they would have never bothered to expand the line to include transformers or GI JOE. Think guys. Hasbro is only interested in making money. Which is okay buy me because they sell all kinds of crack that I like. : )

I guess I live in the wrong part of the world. Has it occured to you that different markets might have different responses to the same product? Where I am, there are unsold Mighty Muggs everywhere, a whole bunch from the last Thanksgiving/Christmas season. Besides, they often don't stock new ones until old ones sell, so yeah. I'd say Mighty Muggs sales are slow here compared to where you live. My local Walmart's still stuck with a shelf load of Asajj Ventresses and Hoth Han Solos. One of the nearest Targets did have all the Marvel ones as well as Star Wars ones out on clearance. Does that really shock you that much?

How much were they on clearance? And where geographically are you? My one complaint about MMs is that they cost 10 bucks. I would LOVE to get some on clearance! >:p

They were still no less than $7, if I recall correctly. I'm in Southern California.

The MM line is not cancelled. Save your pity for when they cancel classics 2.0 after the new movie. ;)

And BTW, I bet we're getting MMs for ROTF. And that would rule!

Found and purchased all four Wave 1 MM this morning from Kmart of all places in Ocala, Fl. Saw the box on the pallet and asked politely if I could buy the whole box. They are all sorts of awesome.
